I loved the feel as I walked in. I got the Godzilla sushi roll and it was amazing. I don’t come to salt lake often but next time I do I’ll be sure to stop by.

Never disappointed at Yoshi's. Try The Loaded Shrimp bowl. Super good I'd you love shrimp. Don't forget their famous Spicy Teriyaki sauce too, on everything!

Nice service and building, and the food looks just like the photo, but it tasted really bad to me. Really, really salty.

Fancy panda express. Highly Americanized (everything is fried or drowning in spicy mayo). Kind staff, although they were speaking Spanish so... last I checked that means they ain't Japanese. Very filling.

Really bummed by this place, the food came out quickly and they have a clean dining room, but that’s about all I can say positively. The food was not good and the water out of the fountain tasted like it had been in a plastic bucket for 20 years. It’s also SO hot in there.

We got the Hawaiian bowl expecting grilled pineapple because that's what the picture had. But it was just pineapple from the can. Extremely displeased.

Very small and Quaint downtown gem! Yoshis is a rice bowl and sushi place! Very delicious, and I never leave with an empty stomach and dissatisfied. The taste is fresh and delicious. Try it out if you have doubts!

Visiting for Kilby Block party and met a very nice employee on our way into the festival named Lilly who suggested we stop by their food truck. We did and it did not disappoint!! My husband and I shared a cilantro rice bowl and gyoza and it was incredibly delicious, filling and probably the most affordably priced food we had at the whole festival! Instantly craving it again the next day after the festival was over we decided to check out their actual restaurant location and we were equally impressed. The place is very cute and clean and Daniela at the counter was incredibly kind and made some good suggestions. I got the same rice bowl as before because it was so good and my husband got the Enso bento box which was also really good! Really impressed by the sushi roll in it too! Compared it to places back home in Washington that we like to eat at and for the cost and quality of food we are pretty amazed. Also just really wonderful staff! If I find myself in Salt Lake again I won’t be going without a stop at Yoshi’s! Thanks Lilly for the recommendation! You rock! :)

The worse Terriaki Chicken I've ever had!!! Chicken was not grilled and half was raw. Pork and vegetable roll was burned. My husband had the Da Vinci and it was subpar. Won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

First-time customer, this place was awesome, and customer service fast and friendly. The food was great. I had the curry bowl with steak and half noodles and rice. Steak was nice and tender, and vegetables were nice and soft. Rice and noodles were prefect and not overcooked. I had it sumo sized. Lol, that is a lot of food. Also had sushi roll, too. Got the matrix. It was good, too.
