Came here to celebrate an anniversary and we had a fabulous time. The portions were larger than other hibachis in the valley and the chef was very funny. We got to catch shrimp in our mouth, a classic which was notably missing from recent Benihana visits. Overall a great visit and we’ll be back.

Food was very good and watching it get cooked was fun. The only downside is that's it's really loud, so trying to hold a conversation can be tricky.

Nothing I enjoy more than a good Japanese steak house. Nothing I loathe more than a terrible experience at one. Unfortunately this was a waste of 75 dollars. The steak n lobster was just the Worst! If it really was lobster I would be shocked. It was tasteless n almost seemed SPOILED! Maybe just plain OLD. Perhaps other items may be good but I don't recommend this joint. To make matters worse when I expressed my disaster to the manager he just laughed like I was a waste of life. TREAD CAREFULLY WITH WHAT YOU ORDER HERE!!

We’ve been going here for years for birthdays and specials events. The owner is such a nice guy always smiling and friendly. It’s nice that he recognizes us, he has a great staff and the servers are very attentive and accommodating. Jackie was our server tonight and she was very sweet. The chefs always prepare great food and always have a great attitude. Highly recommend, always enjoy this place.

Great food but gets very loud.
Fast, friendly, amazing food, we actually had our own table which is nice to not be sitting next to strangers especially with our kids.
Service was amazing. This place feels so homey when compared to Tepenyaki! I prefer Bonsai 100%. Pretty affordable for the quality as well.
This place is no love what it used to be, they just cook food in front of you, it's no longer a fun and entertaining show.
I see a few of the chefs entertaining guests, but the last 3 times we have been there this has not been the case. Very hot or miss,
If you are just going for the food it's good, but overpriced without the show; if you are going for the show it is against the odds you will get an entertaining chef.
We love Bonsai! Celebrate every special occasion there. Staff and food are the best.
Husband and I got food poisoning. Spent the night in the bathroom. 🤢

I feel like the food have lost it quality over time, the experience and the service are still great.
Delicious food, good flavor and fresh. The chef did a great job, but not as colorful as other experiences elsewhere. But he was good none the less and everything was cooked perfectly. We would definitely return.
Delicious food! Service is great! This place is so fun!
Loved it
This is our favorite hibachi place. We drove about 20 minutes and pass two other hibachi places to go to this one. They don’t take reservations, it’s first come first seated, but it’s worth a wait. The food isn’t over cooked (my steak and scallops combo was perfect) and the seafood tempura was also excellent. They have photos of the many birthday celebrations they’ve had there over the years, and it’s high on our list for when we want to celebrate a special occasion. Our chef and server were both great and very accommodating that we had our toddler with us last time.
