Absolutely amazing food and wonderful service. Both times I have been there, the waitress has been friendly, patient, and attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. But the food tops it all! Close to authentic flavors and great ingredients. The menu has food ingredients and descriptions in English, so don't be afraid to try something new.

Today my wife and I stopped by on our way back to Mapleton, Ut. for lunch. It was 3pm they had open tables at the back away from the door (temperature outside 32 degrees) so we asked to be seated at one of the back tables away from the opening and closing front door. We were told ‘Oh those tables are for 3 or more people’ I was shocked! 2 paying customers told no you have to set here or at the bar. Can you believe a restaurant refusing to seat 2 customers there now for the hopes that some party of 3 or more MIGHT! come in through the door at 3pm on a Monday Really! They lost me as a customer.

My husband and I went for breakfast, and I called ahead to see if a reservation or waiting list was needed. They told me no, and that they had a table for two available. I arrived in less than five minutes, and when we got there, there were plenty of empty tables. However, they asked if we preferred sitting at the bar, which we declined. Then, they told us that tables were a priority for larger groups, even though there were two people at each table, and we were the only ones waiting. There was no line to get in, but they said that if we wanted a table, we would have to wait 45 minutes. I’ve never felt so humiliated — it was clear they simply didn’t want to serve us. I stayed silent and we left. I won’t be returning to that place.

Best elevated Mexican food in Utah. Best chili relleno in Utah. Best birria. The flautas are delish. Best beans in Utah. The salsas are unique and incredibly flavorful. Don’t miss the horchata. Very reasonably priced too. Obviously I haven’t eaten at every Mexican restaurant in Utah, but I’ve actively sought out the best, and this is at the top of my list.

Love this cute restaurant with lovely decor and delicious food. The coffee options are great, and the food is amazing. We have tried many of the options on the menu but especially love the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. The service is wonderful, and they have thought of so many cute details, like the check books.

If you ever want to feel the experience of authentic food from Mexico City, look no further, my husband and I came here to visit the SLC area (I am from Jalisco) and we were so shocked at how amazing the food is. Even the chips were 10/10. Chilaquiles with birria had such rich flavors, one plate is enough to satisfy 2 but I could for sure eat one plate alone just on how delicious they were. And to top everything off, we had a concha with strawberries and banana accompanied by some rich café de olla!☕️
