I recently came here for a work party… And I was blown away by the quality of the food. The calamari was the best in the state… The mussels and clams were top notch!!! The halibut piccata was to die for…. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone in the SANDY area looking for a great meal within an amazing atmosphere. Could not be more pleased!!

This Italian quickly became my favorite. Locally owned by 2 brothers their wood-fired pizzas are amazing, their italian nachos are a masterpiece.

Always Worth the Drive — Comforting, Classic Italian with Heart
Fratelli Italian Food has been one of my go-to spots for years—and it never disappoints. Whether it’s date night, dinner with friends, or a bigger group outing, this place consistently delivers delicious food, warm service, and that homey, family-run charm that’s getting harder to find.
I always recommend calling ahead for a reservation, especially if you’re rolling in with more than two people. They’ve got plenty of room for larger groups (huge plus!), but I like the peace of mind knowing we’ve got a table waiting.
We tend to start every meal the same way—with their antipasto board, and honestly, why mess with perfection? It’s a beautiful spread of deli meats, cheeses, olives, sweet peppers, and this time, perfectly cooked asparagus. It’s shareable, satisfying, and the kind of appetizer that feels like an occasion in itself.
Entrees come with a salad, and the house-made feta dressing is always our pick. Creamy, tangy, and addictive—it’s reason enough to clean your plate.
For my main dish, I went with the chicken piccata, and it was a win: tender, bright with lemon, and generously portioned. Between the caper-forward sauce and the size of the plate, it was a win for both my appetite and leftovers the next day. My other half ordered the veal marsala, which is rich and satisfying—just know it leans a bit sweet. Our friend went with the spaghetti and meatballs, which feels like Fratelli’s unofficial signature dish. Always classic, always comforting.
Their wine list leans Italian, of course, and it’s well-curated—plenty of great options by the glass or bottle. I only managed a couple photos this time because, full honesty… I was way too excited to eat. Fratelli is a bit of a drive from home, and when you’re craving comforting Italian in a space that feels like family—you make the trip.
Looking for that mom-and-pop magic with consistently good food, generous portions, and a welcoming vibe? This is your spot.

Very mediocre, bland, overpriced Italian food. Tomato basil soup was the only redeeming quality.

This was our first time trying this restaurant. It was good, but not great. For a Friday night, we expected it to be very busy but there was hardly any people there at all. The food was decent and the service was good. I wouldn’t be opposed to going back but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

The nachos and Fratelli pizza was delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful. The Arancini was okay, but the pesto was fantastic.

I've been curious to try this Italian restaurant as I drive past it every day, and it did not disappoint! The vibe was chill and cozy. The wine list is great. We started with the calamari, which was well seasoned and breaded. I had the veal marsala with the daily soup. The daily soup was average. The veal marsala, however, was amazing. The sauce it comes with is delicious. My husband chose the clam linguini with the salad, which was good. The clam was quite tasty. For dessert, we had the chocobella cake, but unfortunately, it was also just average. I'm not sure if the chocolate cake is made in-house or bought from somewhere else, but for $10, I was expecting the cake to be better. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and know what to get again next time we visit and what to stay away from.

This is a great spot to stop in Sandy. The food is incredible. They have fantastic salads, soups, pizza and of course main course dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is well put together. Very relaxing spot for either a lunch stop or a date night out. Highly recommend!
