The food was amazing. And very filling.... The server was very nice and made sure that we had everything we needed.... Also she didn't bother us too much. But made sure to smile as she went by and asked us if everything was okay a couple of times but not too much as to be annoying

The service was stellar, and the fact that they were able to put up with us is impressive by itself. Very friendly, talkative, and overall pleasant. The food was solid. However, the buttered toast was neither buttered (at least, buttered well) nor toast - it was more of a burnt, somehow managing to blaze the center and leave the edges nearly untouched, leaving behind an amount of moisture akin to the surrounding desert. The big steak omelette had very chewy bits of meat, but the overall composition of the omelette was delicious. The buttermilk pancakes and crepes were delicious as well. The atmosphere was inoffensive. No complaints.

My granddaughter just graduated from high school, and she wanted some pancakes for dinner. So we decided to go to the IHOP on State Street. The details for it in Google Maps said that it was open until midnight on Wednesday. However, when we got there, the hours on the door said it was only open until 10:00 pm. Since it was about 15 minutes before 10, we weren't sure if they would serve our party of 7. However they did and they were very prompt with our food. I had the salmon and it was fantastic, great taste and cooked perfectly. Everybody else was pleased with their food.

Unfortunately, I feel the need to reflect the truth of the situation to which experienced tonight we have…. 😓 terrible!! Complete lack of professionalism…… My date and I decided to have dinner at the Ihop in Sandy…… Everything was going fine, nothing abnormal or disappointing in any way, until….. at the time that both my date and I ran out of our beverage, and unintentionally made the “slurp” sound of which occurs when one tries to get the last remaining drops from ones beverage, the waitress made a scene of which was disturbing enough for me to feel the need to reflect it here!! She immediately turned to the customers she was with, in the table next to us, that she was “SO Grateful for their patience!” and that when she had hastily said “I’ll get too it” she was not talking to them, but too those behind them; US!!
So, to summarize; she not only wrongly and falsely accused us for that twitch we didn’t do, she projected said assumption of us (IHop Customers) to other IHop customers!!! 🤦♂️😓 so sad.
Her name was Kathryn, I hope she learns a little more respect and professionalism when working in a customer service industry!!!!!
Sad that the Sandy IHOP never even acknowledged my review…. Leaves a taste of there “Lack of Care”…. 😢🤷♂️🤔
