Taste is okay but not worth the price. I get that this is an expensive location.
Dumpling skin fell apart when I picked it up. Chicken was at room temperature while having a small candle lit up on the bottom. The ribs were okay. Very small shop.

They have nothing.. Went there after seeing the online menu esp for drinks and desserts. But when we went there, they literally had nothing, everything we asked for was over. And it's not like we came at closing time either.. Well before closing. Probably labors day affects it, but was a disappointment still.

Authentic Chinese food is a rare find here in Utah but L& P did not disappoint. Their menu has a large selection of food and drinks. We ordered dim sum, beef flat noodles and eggplant green beans all were delicious and tasted authentic. The dim sum tasted very fresh and juicy. The strawberry green tea was very good too. Would love to come back for the bakery items.

Service was amazing

Ambiance quaint, clean cozy

Delicious Cantonese dim sum. The soy milk tastes just like the kind you’d find at breakfast joints in Taiwan. I enjoyed the savory dishes and will be back to try more dim sum and other items.

The lady who served us was very knowledgeable of the food and spoke with strong customer service skills.

I tried a coffee cake slice and didn’t like the texture of the cake, it’s very spongey, dry, and cream was dense and heavy. I’ll have to give other desserts a try next time!

The place is very small and seems to be popular with the phones ringing non stop of people placing orders and reservations in advance. Best to come early (4pm) or call ahead!

We drove out here to eat at this restaurant and unfortunately they are closed June 16 - Aug 1. Google indicates that they're open and they don't have a website, so it's unfortunate that we drove out and were not able to eat here.

I had wontons here a few days ago, and the meat inside tasted sour. It seemed like they might have used leftover meat from the day before. Disappointed with the quality.

The buttermilk bun with coconut flakes I got started getting moldy after a day... I placed it in a cool and dry environment. I was so disappointed. Maybe they should tell customers to store it in a fridge. I know it's got cream in it and needs to be consumed quickly, but I was still surprised it got moldy after just one day. I've had cream buns before and they lasted longer than that. It made me wonder when it was made. I got other buns as well and the quality wasn't very good. I like other Asian bakeries more. Also, the staff didn't seem very friendly. I waited a bit before I got helped. I probably won't be back.

If you’re looking for original Chinese food then this is the place! The flavour was better than all the restaurants I’ve eaten at in CHINA!! Very impressed by this cute little cafe. Worth it trust me!!

Super cute small eatery with friendly staff and good food. I enjoyed the boba slush I got. Highly recommend the Char Sui!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in SLC. It rivals my favorite places in NYC and Boston. A small family owned establishment that will require a reservation. Don't let the name deceive you. Bakery goods plays a minor role in their menu.

This place was delicious. We called ahead for the BBQ duck and to reserve a table. It's a very small dining area but the food was delicious and customer service was great. All the food was freshly cooked. The BBQ duck skin was crunchy, meat was moist, and sauce was yummy. We also had beef flat noodles, seafood pan fried noodles, and peking sparerib. The rice cost extra which I'm not used to at other Chinese restaurants in the valley. If we are ordering a main dish, it should come with rice. Other than that, the experience was great. I'm definitely ordering duck from here again.

As a New York transplant, i cannot say enough great things about this place. I have searched far and wide to find good cantonese cuisine and happily landed here.
Im disappointed to see low reviews as it truly is a hidden gem. It’s a small mom and pop shop so when its busy, it’s BUSY. But that is only a testament to their good food and service. I dont feel the other low star reviews reflect their quality of food/service based on a “long wait time” 🙄
Regardless, if you’re looking for great Cantonese cuisine, dim sum, and bubble tea this is the place to go!

★★★★★-no complaints

Great small cafe and bakery, the coconut bread and pineapple bread were delicious light and fluffy, the cozy atmosphere was great, and the packaging for takeout makes it very easy to eat out of! Both of the servers there were very sweet and kind going above and beyond their jobs and I will come back sometime in the future to get more of their delicious pastries!
