This little bakery has a hidden secret, and it's their amazing and authentic Cantonese Chinese food. We have known the owners for almost two decades now, they used to operate the food court at OceanMart on 90th South. This location is of their own is small and can only seat up to 24 people but it is cozy and welcoming. The food is amazing, especially the roast duck, scallions chicken, and the clay pot rice. If you are going with a larger party, call a day or two in advance to reserve your table, and let them know if you want to order anything that would require long prep time like the Roast Duck or the Clay Pot rice. Give them a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

I was a fan of L & P when it was just a small food court inside the local Asian grocery. At the time, I personally considered it the "best Chinese food in Utah." As a Chinese born, I believed the dishes were both authentic and tasty. After visiting L & P at their new location and trying a variety of their dim sum, main dishes, and drinks, it was clear they have maintained their title as my personal "best." I highly recommend L & P to anyone who loves Chinese food that is cooked well and authentically.

Great little Chinese food restaurant! Customer service is fantastic and very helpful! Food is excellent! Tofu soup - full of flavor - lots of tofu delish Pan fried seafood noodles - Great crispy noodles with great seafood mix & gravy Beef stew over rice - Chinese beef stew with flavorful gravy ! Located in a strip mall with lots of parking- great options for many with lots of options - They also have roast duck and special chicken dishes - boba drinks - great bake goods and dim sum served all !

First time trying this place and it was delicious!! We had Dim Sum (tripe, shrimp dumplings, and custard buns) and added an order of Beef flat noodles, which were SO GOOD. The food took a bit longer than we expected but when it came out you could tell it was fresh and cooked to order. Our waitress was the owners granddaughter and so sweet and polite. Small eating area but full for lunch. I grew up in the Bay Area and when there's a restaurant full of older Asian peeps you know you're in a good place :) Their bakery section looked great and we left with a bag of pineapple buns and a slushie. Amazing little place and we will definitely be back!!!

L&P Bakery Cafe serves the best Chinese cuisine in Utah! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️It’s a family-owned restaurant and feels cozy inside. I was impressed by how delicious each dish tastes. Sometimes you might think Chinese dishes are greasy, but this restaurant really knows how to balance the flavors and serves hearty meals. We’ve tried some of their baked buns and cakes and love how they’re not too sweet. The textures are on point. I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes. Not to mention, their customer service is great. The very friendly server kindly explained all the dishes ?
