The food was very fresh. I got the brisket melt and was impressed. The fries and fry sauce were also 10/10. The worker did great. I also like that they use buzzers instead of having a second line to pick up with workers shouting order numbers.

This was my first time there and I think I was expecting a bigger loaf of bread than it was. It was delicious and they didn't take that long to prepare it, but the size/price ratio was a bit disappointing, not to mention that it didn't come with a drink or anything extra for that price.
Employee was on her phone while I was trying to order and had a very lazy attitude about it. Food came out and she took forever to call out to me to pick it up. There was also no line so I don't feel like it should have taken that long.

Melty Way has upped their game with new sandwich baskets, lining paper, and including napkins when your sandwich is served. This beats pulling it out of a paper sleeve or a paper plate. Today (July 4th), there were 6-7 people behind the counter, more than we have ever seen. One looked like a manager, perhaps training. Our group's three separate orders came out almost simultaneously and we're delicious. This is our first time back to the Shops at South Town location since our frequented Valley Fair location closed. The only change I have noticed over the past year or so in a bummer sort of way is there is no longer a toasty, cheesy crust on the outside of the bread (fontina?) as used to be done. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because some of the food court seating was torn up, which isn't Melty Way's fault, but it is part of atmosphere. Thanks Melty Way/ Melty for continuing to keep this location open as you expand into other states.
