I went here on a first date, around 10 pm. After a work shift, the place it self has excellent parking so much so that when we pulled in thought that they might be closed, due to no one being parked there. You would think with how great the food is and quick the service is more people would be there more of the time but this economy- right?
Although they didn’t have the coke drink products I wanted I still was able to have a good experience. The place was dimly lit maybe for the time of night, I’m not sure but I enjoyed it so much plus did I mention I was on a date. They are open late and have such a calm environment to them I bet you could have kids there and it still be a vibe.

Love Mint!! It’s not your classic “sushi place” - and for the better! My wife and I recently did the sushi making class and LOVED IT! We were blown away. Chef Soy (owner of MINT) taught the class himself and was incredibly talented, funny, and personable. It was a great ‘date night.’ HIGHLY recommend (especially for the price). It’s a lot harder than it looks! He uses super fresh ingredients, which is super evident by the taste. We have family coming to town for the holidays and we’re definitely planning to bring everyone for what will surely be a memorable night!

The Mint sushi at Sugarhouse and Cottonwood Heights were solid. In this Mint? My friend had their signature dish Jalapeño hamachi and loved it but my own sea bass was just ok. It was bland and fish was over cooked. In terms of dish composition, I also wasn’t thrilled. The fish was tiny and there were two deep fried jalapeño and deep fried sweet potato. The garnish tasted fine but I was looking for something more healthy. Somehow a seemingly healthy dish was turned into a bunch of deep fried stuff.

Mint in Sandy is THE BEST! We travel to the area and they are so accommodating to our kids (shoutout to Sunny for the special rice roll lol) and all of the servers are so awesome! We went there 3 times in one week and we had Ashley the last night and she was great! The two hostesses we have had are always amazing! The sunkissed special is AMAZING and the 10 piece nigiri is top notch! The hours here make it so easy to get to and have a great dinner! If they have the shrimp tostada special you should for sure get that too!

Bo literally went above and beyond to redo the smoke reveal so we could record it 😭 I’d trust her recommendations any day, she was so sweet. Loved how unique and fresh the sushi was and how the dishes were presented. The Atlantic salmon was amazing. Will definitely be back!!

Everything about this place is great. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Our server Bo was friendly and gave excellent recommendations which we very much enjoyed. The music and low light really set the mood and it was an all around pleasurable experience. Will definitely be back again.

We had Jalapeño Hamachi, Saturn roll, and the Sunkissed sushi roll which was the chef’s special, and an Ube ice cream for dessert and it was SO GOOD! The service was excellent and we were well taken care of of our server and her name’s Bo. Highly recommend!

Found this stylish late-night sushi and tapas restaurant, and they did not disappoint! Our server, Bo, was excellent and kindly guided us through the menu with her insightful recommendations. We loved the double shrimp roll! Everything we tried was phenomenal, and the ambience and aesthetic were the perfect atmosphere for the delicious food and outstanding service.
