Steak was fine, coconut shrimp was pretty underwhelming, blooming onion was tragic. Way overseasoned and hard to eat, same with the Mac and cheese. The bread was the best part of the meal and that says a lot.

Service was okay at best, while trying to figure out how to enjoy the way overseasoned blooming onion I ran out of water and didn't get any until the food arrived and I was halfway through the meal. Even when we were checked up on by the waiter.

Overall, don't think I'll be going back to outback unless I get stuck with a giftcard again. There are significantly better places to spend money that value the service they provide; and give a significantly better dining experience.

Went earlier in the afternoon and wasn't as busy so the staff was very attentive and food was fast to the table.

This is the most disappointing ordering of a steak I have encountered. My presentations of what I feed my dogs looks more pleasing and appetizing. Thirty four dollars for a steak and fries, and I just receive a cold slab of meat on a takeout plate. Yay, my mother and I went to bed after the garden salad. Presentation is half the battle and if that is so. You guys really lost that war. It has to almost take attempt to make steak look that unappealing . I haven't had a worst steak in Utah. You win!

We received a gift certificate for Outback and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service. Enjoyed a perfectly cooked porterhouse, grilled salmon, and coconut shrimp appetizer. The loaded baked potato soup was hearty and delicious, as well as the clam chowder. Our server Ted was attentive and very helpful. Can 100% recommend the Sandy location and we will definitely return

I got the bacon cheeseburger. It lacks bacon. Thin and small. Hardly even noticed any bacon. However the burger was cooked to perfection.

Mostly standard for a steak chain restaurant. No complaints.

My husband and I did not enjoy this place.
Texas Roadhouse is a lot better !

My husband really wanted to go to Outback as we hadn’t been there for years. Definitely regret our choice to go there. When there was no wait on a Saturday night that was the first red flag. Service was super slow and the food left a lot to be desired. Our salads were mostly cheese & croutons, the first blooming onion and they brought out was burned. The second one was good (and the only part of the entire meal we enjoyed). My husband ordered his steak medium rare and it came out almost well done. It took a while to get our servers attention, but she agreed it wasn’t cooked right and took it back. The next steak came out and just by touching it my husband could tell it was overcooked. At that point the manager came out with a bit of attitude and said a medium rare should be served at 125° and pulled out a thermometer to prove it was cooked right. Almost immediately the temp shot up to 135° and still rising; and he quickly took the thermometer out so we didn’t even get to see the actual temperature. He told my husband if he’d accept this steak they’d take it off the bill. My steak was overcooked and even with the $3 garlic butter didn’t taste very good. It was so hard to cut through, I had to saw at it. Then we got the bill and they charged me for a fillet when I’d ordered, and received, a sirloin. That took a while to get fixed. We’re usually pretty quick at restaurants, but were there for an hour and 45 minutes. Definitely won’t be going back as there are much better choices in the valley for a good steak!

Also, their stairs outside aren’t lit and are a tripping hazard.

My family and I waited over an hour and 15 minutes. We arrived before a large party, placed our order, and even got a small appetizer — but our food never came. As time passed, we noticed the big party being served first, even though we had been there long before them. At that point, we were extremely frustrated.
Management didn’t comp anything, didn’t try to resolve the issue, and didn’t acknowledge that they failed to provide us service prior to the larger group. We were so disappointed that when the food finally came out, we decided not to even eat it and just left it there.
I would not recommend this location. The management was unprofessional, and our server, Albert, should have handled the situation much better.

We ordered NY steak and my wife ordered the filet mignon. She wanted it medium rare and I the same. Mine came out medium and hers on the rare side. Couldn't inform the waiter as he came to see how things was after I had finished half my meal. We had water and no mention of refills was offered.
Waiter didn't provide good service. We ordered take out after our meal. Only offered dessert after the take out order came. Also said the check was late because of a computer glitch.

the server tony, is extremely rude. Does not have his priorities straight at all. as a family of pos we feel very put out. he gave great service to others not when it came to us, he forgot what we ordered, forgot utensils, and had us sitting there for over an hour for our food. Very upsetting veterans day trying to honor my mom.

I would love to rate the food but I couldn't actually get a table to eat at. They use a call ahead system that's basically a reservation system as they take priority over walk-ins. After 45 minutes I was still 7 deep on line despite watching people get seated that came in a full half hour after I did. I'll never return to this or any Outback establishment after this treatment.

Got a delivery and paid around $35 for it and the amount of food was not even enough to cover a half of a 9in plate
