Pei Wei has changed from what it was when we would go there a few years ago. The entree's came with meat, vegetables, and rice.
Today my entree was white rice and orange chicken. Lots of deep fried batter with very little chicken inside. I kept tearing the chicken apart to see what chicken was there. Vegetables are an added charge now. What I ate today is not worth going back!!! They also apply the non-alcohol (soda) tax.

Good food, good service, thanks to manager Edgar for his attention. They gained a customer. I will be visiting them every month with my family to repeat the dish.

Really good tastes
Arrived at the store just after 8 pm, lights were off, open sign off and service pathetic. They were obviously annoyed that they had customers and hour before they close. We've been coming here for over 12 years and tonight was the worst. Food quality was terrible. Fried rice was slop, meat portions tiny and overall flavor, nonexistent. We are very disappointed that this once favorite establishment has gone backwards. I deleted my Pei Wei App and won't be going back. If you're looking for good Asian food Stei a-Wei from this Pei Wei.

Title: Pei Wei — The Tooth-Saving Heroes of Sandy
My wife and I went to Pei Wei today at the 10373 S State St, Sandy, UT location. I ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl, and my wife went for the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. First off, super yummy. Like, “I’m already planning my next visit” yummy.
But then came The Crispy Rice Stick Incident of 2025.
The lettuce wraps came with these rice sticks that were so hard, I swear if I had tried to chew them, my dentist would’ve been planning a Hawaiian vacation off my bill. Luckily, Pei Wei’s team stepped in like the customer service Avengers, remade the wraps without the tooth-traps, and did it for free.
Also — and this is a rare unicorn in modern dining — there was no pre-tip line at the register when I prepaid. This is the restaurant equivalent of finding an extra nugget in your Chick-fil-A box. Instant bonus points.
All in all, the food was great, the customer service was stellar, and my teeth remain intact. In this day and age, it’s not easy to find a place where you can get a great meal and not have to worry about something going sideways.
5 stars. Highly recommend.

We used to really enjoy Pei Wei but it's been years since we visited one. We were surprised at how disappointing the experience was. The service was a little curt with us, the order wasn't quite right, and the fried dishes were so hard and crunchy that we could barely eat them. Crispy is good, hard is bad. The beef dish was ok. The only dish that was favorably reviewed by my family was the poke bowl. Price was high for the quality. Overall a big miss from what used to be one of our favorite chains. Way better value available elsewhere.
This was my first time trying Pei Wei, but definitely won't be my last. While that's partially due to the food being pretty good, it's mostly because of the great service I experienced while there.
I had the orange chicken entree and an extra side of firecracker chicken. Both were good, very fresh. Fried rice needed the soy sauce packet it came with, but good otherwise. Orange chicken actually tastes like oranges! Crazy right?
Let's talk about the lady running the front counter. It was lunch rush, very busy and lots of pick up orders coming in. She was taking orders, running food, helping the rest of the staff communicate, all while keeping a smile on.
Hope Pei Wei takes care of her like she's taking care of them. You've got a repeat customer because of her.

I ordered take out and the guy taking the orders was so efficient and friendly as the line seemed never ending. My take out took a while but the lady who brought it out to me, gifted a $5 off coupon and one for free lettuce wraps, apologizing for the wait. While waiting, watching these two, was really impressive between handling customers, getting food out, and they were always friendly about it I noticed, at every turn. So even tho I didn’t dine in, the service was a pleasant surprise.

Food here was awesome! The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is by far one of the best fast casual restaurants I've been to. One note tho the noodles are not the same as lo mein noodles. The noodles here are just plain noodles. I'd suggest going with the fried rice if you're going to pay extra.
Came in at 8:30, open sign turned off. Walked in staff treated us like we were an imposition. Too busy for us. Staff very focused on cleaning up to close at 9:00. If looks could kill....we would be dead. They even turned the dining room lights off and on while we were eating. It's a shame that we were treated so poorly. The good news is our server loves to singing loudly to Taylor Swift. Ugh
Amazing, lady was super nice i dont know her name though.
Tired interior New menu no longer my favorite
The lady running the front was awesome but we ordered noodles and it was plain spaghetti not cooked in sauce very lazy. :(
The lettuce wraps were the same way they use to be so good now it’s not worth ordering. Kung pow was good minus the spaghetti. Fried rice was good donut holes good.
