Some of the staff seemed annoyed they had to work and help customers. The food was not fresh and had so much of the toppings on it you had to dig out the pretzel from the cinnamon and sugar and Cheetos toppings. Also it would be nice to mark somewhere that you have to order 5 days in advance to get 4 cheese stuffed pretzel bites that seems ridiculous to me!
I would not recommend wasting your time or money at this location hopefully other locations are better.
If you’re in this area you might as well just go down the street to Aunt Annie’s you will have a much better product and experience!!!

I used to work at this location and had to quit because I couldn’t take the toxic work environment and the constant excuses that were given to me about why certain employees one pictured above did things and got away with them without any write ups or any serious consequences I was unable to deal with the constant drama as well as what was said was not right in anyway people making racist comments and commenting on peoples age and the way I saw customers treated was horrible I have worked in the service industry for years and have never come across people that would treat customers as bad as some employees do here as well as how they treated me and my roommate who worked there as well so I decided that I couldn’t be a part of this environment anymore because it was just too toxic and the things these two got away with while acting racist and discriminatory towards other employees is not ok and to me the cherry on top was when I got sick during the Christmas season and was told that other people have come in and worked sick therefore I should as well and to just wear a mask like I stated above I have worked in the service industry for a while now and if iv ever been sick have been told to stay home and not come in due to concerns that I could get other employees sick or possibly contaminate the food I’m cooking so to be told that I Should just come in and work through it was a definite no for me and on top of it all I saw several employees vape in the store in the back but on more than one occasion I caught the leads hiding behind the front counter and hitting there vapes in the front of the store which boggles my mind if you can’t wait to go outside like you are supposed to like I have to as someone that smokes cigarettes and your just going to hit that stuff in the middle of the store when you have been offered extra breaks to go out and vape where your supposed to that just makes no sense to me as well as my other roommate got offered her job back and I have been as well because she called us spineless and thinks that we only quit because he did I quite for all the above mentioned reasons out of my own free will and he has been attacked because she thinks that he’s the only one that actually meant what he said I have said the same stuff as him and brought up the same problems but according to her all I did was copy what he was saying and that I didn’t mean it so he has been singled out as the problem when in fact the real problem is the way the two employees have acted and things they have done I have called out and been late just as much but somehow he is the only problem in there eyes

I recently worked here and had to quit because I had sciatic nerve pains for the first time in my life and was told that my boss and her husband went through it so I should have to, i quit and got a note to prove it. I also can tell you that the girl in the photo made racist comments towards a man that worked with us who had to move from Venezuela because of stuff going on there so it wasn't even his choice , as well as made a comment about my age when I wasn't even the oldest one working there, she did this right after another girl there just swore and got mad at me for helping an employee I was a lead, so it was my job to do that. These girls have the worst attitude I've ever seen in my life and they get away with it all cause they are only 20 so apparently that justified all their actions. I have seen these girls sticks fingers up each other's butts and then not wash their hands then go back to their job. I loved it at first but it slowly became super toxic as well as tips are ok for females to take for tampons and even my gf was offered money out of tips for medication, me and my roommate who just quit as well, who also was a lead were never offered money out of tips for anything. When we asked about the tips made during our last bit of time there we were told that if we would've stayed our Christmas gifts would have been more as if mocking us it felt like, and then added I have too much on my mind since two people quit on me. Yet a girl she had to fire for being rude to her got tips saved for her for months after she was fired because she was related to her. I even made comments about writing me up for things I have done because it would make more of an impression than letting everyone get away with everything. I can also add that me and my roommate were sick and told to work because other employees there were sick and worked through it which I'm pretty sure is how we got sick. I did get my doctor's note late but I don't like hospitals or doctors so I try to man up through this kinda of stuff but this has been the worst pain in my life for a constant six weeks I worked through 4 weeks of it before it got to be too much I even lose sleep through it but I was made to seem like I'm weak or something for being human. Mind you I'm covered in tattoos and have no complaints about me and I worked there for more than half a year. Another crazy thing is I had to fight to get the young kids there to stop vaping in the store as well as other leads. Never had this type of work environment, also I should add that we had just enough people there to work their shifts and nothing extra so when we're sick or injured you have no one to ask to cover cause most the people on an opposite shift were young and had worked all the hours they could, no way ever would I ask either of those two girls for help cause they had attacked me verbally so I felt uncomfortable working with or around them. My boss had helped me a lot at certain points but being too nice breeds bad behaviour making it seem ok to do things that are not ok. I am still being talked about at work as if I am a bad person but my roommate did all the same things as me and is being treated as if he has no back bone which just seems like I'm the main target, my main point is that someone above them needs to really look ok at this store as well as read the reviews from West valley which are just as bad, and she manages that place too.

The picture of the girl in Paris's review was so rude and so not helpful! Her customer service sucks! I asked her coworker if she's having a bad day and the girl said no we're just really busy. I'm sorry but being busy isn't an excuse to be rude. I told the guy at Zagg about how rude she was and that they said its because their busy. He said they are always busy, so that's not an excuse. I live in California and when I come to Utah I get better service but after getting service from her I felt I was in California again. I'm sorry but just about everyone is hiring find a new job if you don't like it.

went there today with my family, and this lady charged us twice even though we had proof on our bank account that it went through the first time. she was not nice from the beginning she gave my mom attitude and kept rolling her eyes and once we got a refund she started yelling and calling us names like the b word. i do not recommend south town pretzel maker at all!

Extremely poor customer service and experience at this location. I ordered two of the kids meals, which comes with a small container of pretzel bites and a bottled juice drink. The gal who filled the cups did fine, however it seemed like I was given skimpy portions so I asked if they could fill the cup up with a few more and the guy at the register who was helping me and appeared to be the manger said no and that what I was given was the appropriate amount. I then went on to acknowledge it and as well as mention that what I was charged was not the displayed price. Some worker in the back chimed in saying it was because of tax and I said no that, that was not it. He guy helping me then went on to ask if I wanted an application and that he wanted to come bug me at my work. Overall poor experience, extremely poor customer service. Will not be back to visit nor will I recommend Pretzelmaker.
