Honestly we were pleasantly surprised! We have a few favorite local Italian restaurants but this one might have taken the cake for us. The pear and burrata appetizer was delicious, we got it with the bread basket and that was a yummy combo. I got the lasagna and my husband got the carbonara, and we were super happy with both. He added crispy chicken to his and the portion size was double what we had seen at any other restaurant, which made him a happy camper. Overall a wonderful experience and our server Rachael was phenomenal.

Service was horrible. Waiter made inappropriate comments about us not ordering specialty drinks and sharing a salad. He was worried about his tip, which he didn't deserve. Our sodas came after the appetizer. We had to beg for refills which took forever to get. He never cleared anything from the table. I had to move our plates to the other side. Food did not reflect the prices. Short ribs came out cold over runny instant mashed potatoes. Carbanara had no flavor and noodles were firm. Ceasars salad was meh. Overall, we were very disappointed for what we paid.

DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK! The $52 filet mignon was the worst steak I’ve ever had. It tasted like it was Elk. There’s a chance that it was old. I had told the waiter it tasted off and he said ok do you want me to box it for you. I had two bites of it and that’s it. Multiple people on the table tried a tiny bite and all agreed.

Initially, we weren't expecting such a modern vibe. At first, the place felt a little off, but once we ordered and got our food, we quickly became very pleased.
The parmesan flatbread was a delight! From the freshness, softness, and crispy parts, to the marinara dip with the flavor, this was by far the best appetizer I've had in a very long time.
We ordered the filet mignon. The server asked if we wanted the sauce on the side. We said yes, please! I sometimes forget to make that request, and I end up not liking it. I am very grateful she asked because we would not have enjoyed that meal as much as we did. You know it is a good steak when you don't need any sauce on it! It melted in our mouths. It was cooked to perfection, and the portions were great for one person.
The broccolini was delicious and perfectly cooked. We are confused why it costs $12 for 3 pieces of broccoli. It seems a tad excessive.
The Budino dessert was very good! They were out of the pancetta, but we were happy with the dessert she suggested.
It seemed as though they were understaffed for a weekend evening, especially since they were only open for dinner. The server was very busy. She was the only one working the floor. She did a phenomenal job, but it would be great to see the manager not put so much on their employees to handle. This caused the wait for food and ordering to be much longer than it needed to be.
It is also cold, since it is very open, like a warehouse style. I recommend a light jacket.

Our server was outstanding and gave us great information about the food. I ordered the 100 layer lasagna and my mom had the short ribs, both of which we would absolutely order again.
We got the brie and grapes appetizer, which we both loved and devoured.
We look forward to going back.

Great Italian food with a modern twist with constant updates to the menu to keep it fresh and new. Atmosphere and ambiance are great for date night, corp events or a casual lunch. Will definitely be back to experience more on the menu!

Husband and I went to Scelto for the first time last month with another couple. Had great service, was a nice atmosphere and food was good. Everyone at my table enjoyed their entree. They were out of the two desserts we wanted to order when we went on Saturday night. I would also say to earn the full five stars on this review, they could give you a basket of bread or rolls for the price they are charging for entrees. It is pretty standard even for fine dining places to at least give you bread/rolls.

This place was fantastic! The only thing I think the Chicken Parmasan and Lasagna needed was a piece of bread to clean the plates off with... :) We will be back!!!
