Friendly staff. good food. enjoyed my time there
Have been going to Skippers with my daughters for years now. It's our thing. I love the music, the employees who are always helpful and friendly and I love the fresh hot food. I'm so glad there are still places like this. I don't go out to eat often but I take my elementary-age daughters here for every daddy-daughter date we do. I seriously have never had an issue where they are more than willing to fix it. Great and wonderful customer service. Thank you so much for your great service. Skippers is the best!
Didn't even know there were still Skippers at all so really happy to have found this one. The fish and chips was amazing. Love the malt vinegar for the chips and the clam chowder is to die for.
Hella good! Got my free Birthday dinner by being a club member. Always delicious and prepared fast and efficient. Luv this place.
I'm glad Skippers is back! It's not fancy or exceptional but it's fast, cheap, and you get what you expect. I like the sauce variety! The combo give you a decent amount of all things fried.
I ordered a 3 piece fish and chips at 5:49 pm and didn't get my order till 6:30. People who ordered after me got theirs way before I did. I will never repeat.
Just went to Sandy skippers last night, maybe the staff was having a rough day or maybe the way it's run now has changed. Maybe I am just an old school spoiled brat.
Went to skippers in sandy tonight I got the classic 3 piece fish with coleslaw and a baked potato and a cup of clam chowder. The soup was still hot and so was the fish and potato. They give more then enough butter and you get how much sour cream you want I will be back and so happy they are in Sandy now
I really wanted to love this restaurant, but I am less than satisfied. The prices are great, but the food and presentation were lacking. First of all, I really love fish and chips. I grew up eating Long John Silvers. The fries and fish were over-salted with the fish being rather lame and lackluster. The lemon wedges served were tiny lemon pieces. Missing were the coleslaw, catsup and tartar sauce. Will not eat here again. There are much better places for fish and chips, just plan on spending a little more elsewhere!
great food great service!!!

This place is the BOMB !!! Went last night it was pretty busy. I ordered 4 piece Fish & Chips and Clam Chowder, My wife had the Grilled Salmon. We were very pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. The Clam Chowder was really hot the way a soup should be, the Fish was piping hot, crispy and so moist in the inside. My wife loved her Salmon and the Coleslaw. We were served very quickly not really expected for how busy they were. When in CA I use to visit Long Jon Silvers pretty often, Here in Utah now I would go to the Market Street Grill in South Jordan to satisfy my cravings for Fish & Chips $14.99 for two small pieces of fish and it is just okay a little dry. Skippers has Bigger pieces of fish and 4 pieces was $9.99 or $10.99 and very hot and moist. I will be back my new favorite place. !!!
I have loved Skippers clam chowder since I was a little kid. It's still just as tasty as ever.
I went in there once and stood there for 10 minutes without any help or acknowledgement from the staff. The place was a wreck, I could not believe they were selling food out of that place. I am glad that i left. I hope the health department does something before someone ends up sick.
