I got the charcoal latte and was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it! It stands out from other signature drinks I’ve had and has its own taste that mixes well with an added shot of espresso (which I did). Got a warm plain crossant to go along with it and dip and it was wonderful!
Their equipment is really nice and their baristas seem to have good skills and understanding of coffee. I saw some SCA (specialty coffee association) stickers walking in too so they know what’s up!
The color scheme and layout of the cafe was really nice too and had a more keep to yourself chill/study vibe there. I’ll be back!

Great quality coffee. I always get decaf espresso and sometimes it’s not very good depending where you go, but it was delicious here! The avocado toast was pretty good but could have had more avocado. Liked the spice mix on it. Lots of room to sit and not too loud.

I drove all this way to try this spot with my girlfriend and we were utterly disappointed. They were out of the avocado toasts and it’s only 12pm. We got the tomato basil croissants and the tomatoes inside were extremely cold. My partner got the Tree Trunks drink and it tasted awful. The shots were definitely dead. Anyways we won’t be coming back here unfortunately.

As a coffee snob, this place has great drip coffee. Nice airy space, lots of seats, nice staff, good music (to me). They don't have a ton of power outlets but I've always been able to use one.

Their coffee is delicious, if you're willing to wait. I've been here a few times and consistently they brew a wonderful espresso but lately the service is painfully slow. I came in this morning for an oatmilk latte and a cortado. After I ordered and paid, I was told by the barista it would be a "few minutes" since a couple orders were in front of me. I didn't get my coffee for 22 minutes. It would have been great to know it would be that kind of delay ahead of time since I had to get to work and I had my dogs in the car. Or at least, it would have been nice to see some sense of urgency for backorders but even when other baristas came from the back to help, they were chatting and taking their time. The coffee tasted great, but I just can't roll the dice on a 5 vs 30 minute coffee stop on work mornings anymore.

THE BEST ESPRESSO AND AVOCADO TOAST IN UTAH. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere is very nice. I’ve lived here for two years and finally found a coffee shop to be loyal to after visiting the Bean Yard.
