It’s either really funny, or really sad that every time I come to any TSC I have to wait in lobby. Put my order in 15 minutes before I arrived and still had to wait 20 more after I got here. What’s worse is the smoothies was finished before I got there and melted by the time the sandwich arrived
Honestly this chaining general has major issues

Waited 20 minutes for 1 smoothie. After I get the smoothie I can clearly see there’s no protein added which they charge you $1? Not to mention they RUSH you when you are trying to order… to what wait at the window forever? These employees need training and some basic manners.
i honestly like this place. but the last time i went, they wrote in their own tip 0/10. i went through the drive through and they don't even give an option to tip. but alas, my receipt had a tip on it. i feel stolen from

I had a very disappointing experience at this Tropical Smoothie location. I came in to order seven smoothies, and the employee taking my order was extremely rude. She acted as if my order was a burden and that she needed to “turn over” before taking it, which I could fully understand it was lunch time and probably the busier time of day. What I didn’t understand is while I was waiting by the register, she began talking negatively about me to her coworker, saying things like I was “staring at her” and “can’t she see we’re busy.”It was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. I expect better customer service. I won’t be returning to this location.
Not sure if this is the same management at the West Valley location but If I can give a zero star I would. Literally walked here with friends bragging about how great this place is because the West Valley location the staff were amazing and then the cashier who assisted us Jaime said we’re not serving food bc we have a big order. While you see the staffs just standing around. Clearly Jaime and the staffs at this location doesn’t know how delegate on who does what. It was only 10:30am. She was rude about it as well. If you don’t like your job then find something else that will make you happy. I wonder how it will be during lunch hour rush. Maybe Jaime will turn customers away and tropical smoothie will lose a lot of money.
Ive been to multiple locations and this was the first time I came in and was told that they werent making food till after there catering order was completed and that it would take 30 min, very disappointed,I went to the other tropical smoothie yesterday morning and even though the were working on a catering order I was still capable of ordering food and recieved it in less than 10 min, service not so great, food and smoothies great

The food/drinks isn't the only thing that makes a place great its also about the people who work there , do you guys even know or care about your employees? This isn't even the first time , clearly others have had the same issues and even named dropped an employee which is the same one i've had issues with it’s absolutely absurd how you guys let someone horrible as that work there and yet today i met a sweet chubby girl who was the best! You guys should really start hiring more people like her and focus more on your team for this location.
Arrived 15 minutes prior to close and they had already shut off drive thru and locked the door. Please update your hours or close on time.
I recently went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Sandy and had a disappointing experience. We pulled into the drive-thru about an hour before closing and were met with someone yelling that the system was down and we’d need to come inside. No big deal—we went in. But once inside, the employee seemed super grumpy, like we were bothering her just by being there.
I’ve worked in food service, so I get that people coming in close to closing time can be frustrating—but we still had a full hour before they closed.
We ordered three smoothies to go, and it took about 10–15 minutes to get them. When we finally did, they were so bland. All I could taste was ice. Every single one tasted like that! I was especially bummed because I usually love the Bahama Mama—it’s normally full of flavor, but this time I could barely taste anything. Not sure if they used less fruit or watered them down or what, but I was super disappointed.
STAY AWAY!!! Could not hear the server(Amie P) well from behind the glass with the loud, explicit, offensive music being played. Ordered 3 smoothies, server gave us 2 smoothies and walked away and left us waiting….. I Checked my receipt and it said 2 smoothies and a bowl (that she didn’t appear to be making and that I hadn’t ordered). When questioned, she said we only ordered 2 smoothies. She checked the register, and said we ordered 2 smoothies and a bowl (which she didn’t seem to remember!). She made the third smoothie, but when asked about the difference in cost ($2), she said she didn’t know how to do that and got defensive. She said they were basically the same cost, and if it was that big a deal she could make us another smoothie. I didn’t need another smoothie, at this point it was more of a principle and I wanted my refund and maybe an I’m sorry. She was rude and condescending throughout the entire interaction. There was no one else in the store (I’ve begun to understand why!) and she just went about her business behind the glass and ignored us! Basically, this location stole from me, treated me very poorly and the music choice was very questionable. I will go out of my way to avoid this establishment in the future and recommend those I care about to avoid it as well. Management should consider letting this employee find employment somewhere else where they don’t have to interact with other human beings!
They were completely out of fruit because they hadn’t unloaded their latest shipment which they had already received. No smoothies at a smoothie place? Half the sandwiches weren’t available either. Their excuse was they were “slammed” in the morning and ran out of everything. Not sure how you run out of lunch items before 11am. Definitely a poor excuse for lack of preparation. After reading other reviews this seems to be a recurring theme. Worst tropical smoothie I’ve been to. Oh also don’t dine in if you don’t like opera music.
