Maybe I’m feeling generous but I thought the fish here was delicious. The fries were also good. The 5⭐️ rating was because of the service though. We were greeted with a smile when we came through the door. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and courteous. We got a 3-piece meal to share. The food was delivered hot to our table and they brought an extra plate and cut the third piece without being asked. It was refreshing to have such great customer service. They also said goodbye to customers as they left. The atmosphere was nothing special but the food was great and the staff was stellar.

A little pricey. But it is high quality fish

Food was delicious and good value. The employees were friendly and helpful and offered good ideas. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend. We had the fish and shrimp and the Parmesan truffle fries, everything was great!

Ty’s fish and chips are outstanding. There is nothing like it. So happy to have it in our community. The fish, crab balls, tempura veggies and fries are always fresh and so yummy. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

The food here is literally to die for, each dish was crispy and delicious, from the tempura vegetables to the fish. Then the doughnuts are so crispy and pair so good with the custard! 10/10 recommend!

First time visiting 6/07/25 with family. We looked around for great fish/chips online and found TY! So fantastic! Great red snapper and delicious sauces. Everything was great and cooked perfectly. We are looking forward to our next time in town just to go here again. AWESOME!

We went there for the first time right before they were closing. They were very pleasant to serve us and had it ready to go before closing time. People might think it's a little pricey but one needs to remember that fish isn't cheap. The fish and chips were delicious. We would go there again.

TY fish and chips has some great fried fish. It was cooked perfectly for me. The tartar sauce was great, it added to the fish flavor and didn't override the fish. The fries were good the sauce I got on them was a little flat of the flavor but still enjoyable.

The place was clean and the staff super friendly. Overall I was very pleased. If I had to pick a think to improve it would be side portion size was a little small.

If you are looking for a simple and good fish and chips place here is the place.

I’ll repeat what I said on Facebook: Oh my gosh, these red snapper fish & chips are AMAZING!! Easily the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. I’d have taken a picture, but I wolfed it down too fast to care about making an Instagram reel.

I love the perfectly seasoned, perfectly textured, crispy batter. The batter is also not overly applied to the extent that you’re eating nothing but batter; it’s a perfect balance of batter and fish.

Keep in mind, it comes out hot and oily; if that bothers you, pat it dry to soak up some oil, but for me, I didn’t even notice until someone pointed it out. The oil didn’t hamper my experience in the slightest.

The fish is as flavorful as halibut, but wonderfully unique. The sauce selection is fantastic (I recommend the mango curry, in particular). The fries are perfect, classic diner-style or gastropub-style fries you would expect and crave when looking for comfort-food while dining out. Sure, there may technically be better fries out there, but not at this price point.

The price is supremely affordable at roughly $16 per person. Given the price, I’m giving it five stars in terms of food, service, and atmosphere because it’s obviously no Michelin-Star restaurant, but it’s too affordable and too delicious for me to care. The owner (I think) brought out my food personally, and the tables were clean—you can’t ask for more than that in such a small, simple place. The atmosphere is exactly what it needs to be: a place that is clean, well-run, and well-loved, regardless how small or affordable it may be.

It was dinner time on a Monday when I went in, and I was sadly alone, and that’s what made me mad enough to write this review: EVERYONE needs to check this place out!! Gosh darn it, I’m gonna gain all my weight back!

Pricey considering they don’t even clean the shrimp

If you're looking for a solid fish and chips place, this is it! That is the primary food here, and they know how to do it right, and they have several food options for sauce as well.

One of the things that really made this place stand out was the service. There was a younger man that was very polite, that helped me out with a drink spill and was genuinely nice. You could tell he cared about the service, it was a genuine politeness that he had, not just someone along the Watsons if you liked the food. That really stood out to me and I appreciate the Michelin star quality of service at a fish and chips place.

As an Australian living in the US, I have never had a good fish and chip anywhere in this country until trying this place. It is as authentic as they come. I would not, and will not, go anywhere else for authentic seafood. (Their calamari is so good as well).
