I have been going to ValSof in Murray for a couple of time because I love their chicken pastry. This time I had a chance to visit this location and it was the right decision. I ordered Americano and I think both places have about the same quality of coffee. However, I think the bakeries at this location is slightly better. I will be coming back!

I have been to this place before and the pastry’s are delicious, However the customer service is terrible. I went in there today for a chocolate croissant and there was one left. I asked the lady if I could get that and she had the audacity to say “no, that one is mine” and asked if we wanted something else. She said we could not have that one because it was specifically for her. If it was for her then it should be put off to the side instead of out front for the customers. They should put the paying customers first instead of claiming the item that has not been purchased yet. It was extremely rude.

Literally a Colombian bakery! Authentic traditional flavors and a great variety of breads — changua, calentado paisa, grandma’s bread, buñuelos, yuca bread — all fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious!

I went to this place and ordered some food along with an oat milk drink. I specifically asked three times for no cinnamon and they still added it. When I told them I had asked for no cinnamon, they tried to scoop it out with a spoon in the small sink where they wash their hands. That was extremely unsanitary and unprofessional. It completely ruined my experience.

Slow queue
We used to love coming here but we are not coming back after our last experience. My wife ordered a Calentado, which in the menu said it was beans, rice, egg and arepa. Since she does not eat beef or pork, that seemed to be one of the few options. The beans and rice came with chunks of pork, when she asked them if they could change the dish, they just said it was not possible, that any Colombian would have known that calentado comes with pork. She is not colombian, and me being colombian, can tell that chunks of pork is not a norm. They made my wife feel so guilty about not liking pork, and even the manager just said that it is the way it is, and that they are not going to offer any solution, that it was my wife’s fault for not asking, even though the menu did not say anything about chunks of pork. We didn’t need a refund. It was never about the money. It was about acknowledging a customers concern about menu items that were not clear.
Anyway, I hope one day they can understand that they are in America, so customer service should be held at the same standard.

We came for my husband's birthday, he was so excited to come eat some Colombian food. I ordered a plate which was not supposed to have pork. The menu only says beans, rice eggs and arepa. I asked if they could give me something else instead and they blame it on me, that the way they cook beans in Colombia is with pork and it was my responsibility to ask if I have any dietary restrictions. When I said the menu should say that it has pork the owner told me that I can't tell her how to write her menu, she was offended. We had come so many times before and loved this bakery but I never expected even the owners and employees to be like that, I was so frustrated no one understood my point. I had never been to a place where they treated me like this. I told them to just take the money and we were going to leave, at the end they gave us three pastries.

We love getting pasties here, specially the buñuelos. Never disappoint. Great place! I am Colombian and this places serves authentic Colombian food and pastries! I have highly recommended to all people I know and everyone has commented how good this place is.
The only thing is that today I saw pastel de pollo, the chicken pastries, and decided to get two for my kids to try, then we got 7 buñuelos and I decided to get a third chicken Ken pastry. We had all of them to go. Upon getting home I realized only two chicken pastries were in the bag. So just check the bag next time. Overall great place. Thank you!
A marvel! 👌
