I googled the bakery near me yesterday . I came to the village baker . Walked in the place is spacious and very clean .lots of fresh breads and goodies .I asked what time they came in to start the day ? He replied to me 2 am . We have a mill in the back and make everything from scratch every day ! Wow I was instantly impressed . The menu is clean and clear . Easy to decipher . They had delicious soups ,sandwiches and breakfast .I decided on the French toast .It was light and fluffy but thick.and made my taste buds pop just the right amount of sweetness .with strawberries ,whipped cream and syrup .I will be returning to this hidden gem .The food was amazing .thank you
The chicken salad sandwich was delicious on thickly sliced honey wheat bread, I ate it in a combo with a Caesar salad a good pairing. Cinnamon rolls too big to eat in one sitting
