We came here late at night and we had pie and something to drink. My other friends got some meals and they really enjoyed the hamburger and the crepes. The waitress was very attentive to us and filled the drinks as they were getting low. Get out on Wednesday and they have free pie night!
The service is excellent for a diner. The food was good. Definitely my favorite Village Inn in SLC.
Food was really good and reasonably priced. The service was great. Our server was ver friendly and attentive.
The menu has changed recently and not for the better, me thinks. Used to be our go-to place for breakfast, but I think we'll look for another eatery. Amanda did great, by the way, and as usual it was packed.
Disappointed. .. usually I really like their pies. I purchased an apple and a cherry for Thanksgiving. They were not done, crusts not browned and doughy on the bottom.....so sad
The server was great. We really enjoyed him. The food was just so-so. I got an omelette that wasn't very good. The pancakes were hot and yummy. My coconut cream pie was disappointing ☹️.
Great food and awesome service! You are awesome Noel! We’ll be back again!
Do not come here unless you want late, cold food! We walked into the restaurant at a few minutes to 5:30 and were seated immediately. We told the waitress Juliann that our boys needed to have their food before they got any drinks otherwise they would simply fill up on drinks and not eat a bite. I kindly asked that they put a rush on the order to feed my little boys. My wife and I ordered our food and we got one hot chocolate and we didn't see her for an hour. No refills, no conversation, no offers for any kinds of food, not even an update. I can understand if they had problems in the kitchen but I cannot understand if you can't communicate with your customer to tell them why it's taking you over an hour to cook a few pancakes and some eggs. The manager came around and talked with some of the other customers who came in well after us but I had to track him down to talk with him and we received our cold food within 20 minutes. This is completely unacceptable! I received no discounts, barely a sorry. For the first time in my life I tipped one penny with a heavy heart and a tear in my eye. My advice to VI: get a new manager today!
Food was good. I got the turkey dinner and asked for gravy on the side but it came with the gravy on the food. Didn't think it was a big enough problem to complain about though. Happened to be there on a day when they give you a free slice of pie with purchase of an entree and that was also good.
Sheri and Milena are amazing!! They treat their customers like family. They are professional and caring. They are the reason I go back.

Food and service were excellent. The waitress went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted. We chose to eat here because it's usually quiet enabling conversations and we were not disappointed.
My family has been eating at the Sandy VI for years every Sunday. The food is good, but what really keeps us coming back is the amazing service we get from Sheri. If she's not there, I don't think we'd be there as often. Thanks for everything, Sheri!!
Such a good place to eat. Again, portions are getting smaller. I think, you should go bigger to show that you do love your customers?
Emily was our waitress tonight and she was absolutely adorable. She was fast, efficient, and super fun to chat with. I had a great dining experience because of her. I will be coming back. Thanks for an unexpected fun filled night. #BardiGang
