Went to lunch at Ying’s and had a great experience. Restaurant is clean and great atmosphere, servers were attentive, and food was delicious! We got the spicy edamame, which was delicious and not that spicy, we also got the spider roll, and another sushi roll, and the grilled salmon plate. Everything was delicious and the right temperature. Would definitely come again!

As a basic white boy, their pad Thai is so yummy. They don’t even try to pressure you into using chopsticks

I walked into this restaurant and just knew it was going to be “right”. The smells coming from the kitchen were on point. I had the Pad Kee Mao hit the spot, so I returned for Massaman Curry and their ice cream desert I can’t recall the name of, but loved it. The staff recognized my wife from a film and asked for pictures before we left, it was really cute. It’s not a spot in my neighborhood, but worth the trip.

We called to see if they could accommodate vegan options, and they were very kind and told us they could! Their curry can / is made without fish sauce and dairy!
We ordered the massamam curry, and the green curry, both were so delicious! Will definitely be coming back again!

Best damn pineapple curry and tom yum soup. Wings are great. Drunken noodle with beef! Mango sticky rice is a must. Never misses!

We drive 40 minutes to eat at Yings just about once a month. It’s our favorite Thai restaurant in the whole Salt Lake Valley.
The curries are excellent, especially the massaman. Love the Tom Kha (chicken coconut soup) we get it without spice.
The Pad See Ew is great but the Pad Thai isn’t my favorite.
The sushi rolls are good too. I was a little leery at the Thai and sushi combo but Ying does both very well. She used to be at the restaurant all the time but we don’t see her as much anymore. She’s a lovely woman from Thailand who knows her way around the kitchen.
The mango sticky rice and homemade coconut ice cream are also a must try.

My recent visit to Ying's Thai Sushi left me with mixed feelings. While the food was undeniably tasty, it just wasn't spicy at all – a real letdown given my preference for heat. What made it more frustrating was that I was never asked about my preferred spice level when ordering.
I tried to remedy the situation by asking for Prik Nam Pla, but my server seemed unfamiliar with it but did say said she'd bring some, but unfortunately, it never materialized. So, I ended up enjoying a flavorful meal, but one that left my spice cravings completely unsatisfied.
On a brighter note, the sushi was actually pretty good, and the menu itself was vast, offering a huge variety of options.
