Good little hometown diner! Good food great service.
Do not go by the photos. Those were of a different building. This one has ugly carpet not checkered floors. They were forced to move. We decided to stop anyway.
The food was excellent. Really good!
The waitress was friendly.
The price was fair.
5/26/25 Memorial Day
So I took a friend here for a belated birthday lunch. Food was good. Note, good, not great. The waitress was ok at first. Member of a marching band in either high school or college. She has yo be a drummer because she spent the rest of the time that my friend and I were in the place drumming. It got to the point that I wanted to say something. I didn't, built I will also say that she only got a 2 dollar tip. I SHOULD have only given her 60 cents. It's ridiculous. From now on when,or IF I go in to Hot Rods at the payson bowling alley, if she is there, as soon as I see her, I will turn around and go right back out. No more of that baloney. Also, since when does a mushroom and Swiss burger come with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, crisp onions, ketchup and mayonnaise? I dont think I will be going back much, if ever.
You guys should probably change your open times, The website said open till 4pm on Mother's Day, ya got there and ya'll were closed.
It was a really nice place, good price for good food. 👍
The location did not look like the pictures, I guess they moved recently? But the staff and owner were really nice and he made his own ranch dressing that was delicious so..
Looking for a place to eat breakfast with my family before a long ride home we saw the diner on google and from the pictures had that vibe so we decided to stop. Upon walking in it was definitely not what the pictures showed. We seated our self and waited for the waitress. She was pleasant but seemed a tad overwhelmed even thought it was not busy at all. The seating were not booths but folding tables basically and chairs. The decor was semi ok. The drinks are self serve which was odd but no big deal. The food was ok.
The omelet was fluffy with generous fillings. The chicken fried steak was great.
The waitress and cook were accommodating for our special requests.
Local hidden gem! The staff is always friendly, The breakfast is always good, and the price is great!

I loved the food here. The atmosphere with all the old stuff on the walls is awesome and they are so nice. I'm so glad we found this place while in Payson. Coming back when we come this way again.

Cool little diner, I grew up in an old coffee shop diner and this place has that hole in the wall feel that seems like home to be. Obviously it's not a 5star joint, but if you want some greasy yummy breakfast, this is a good spot to get that craving extinguished. Small Town vibes and food has been to my liking. Would recommend.
