This costa vida used to be amazing….I don’t know what changed but food quality is downhill, and my order always seems to be wrong.I hate to go back to cafe rio but my last few experiences have been better there

I love this place. However I found a lady bug in my lettuce and pico and it was late at night and I had gone through the drive thru. not sure how that happened. I know sometimes that's unavoidable but eh!!

On the Costa Vida app, you can earn points by purchasing food and redeeming those points to buy food for free. My wife went to buy food today and had 168 points. She indicated that she wanted to use her points, but the cashier guy said she didn't have any. She showed him her phone and clearly she had enough points, but the brainless fool on the other side of the register said his computer showed she didn't have any points, so he didn't give her the rewards she earned.Too bad there's no such thing as customer service or basic human intelligence anymore.There's a clear difference between the overall quality of everything when comparing Costa Vida and Cafe Rio. Cafe Rio is our go-to for this precise reason.

I ordered a regular salad. It was mostly tortilla. I wish I had taken a picture. It was smaller than Cafe Rio's tostada. They might be practicing shrinkflation, I don't know. If I'm spending $10, I would like to get some food. I don't know if it's worth it for me to spend my money here.
I was at your Saratoga Springs location today with some friends for lunch and the first thing I noticed was an employee (Alex) standing at the door, in the snow, and he saw me coming and waited for me so he could hold the door open. So thoughtful. I ordered a drink and found out the Dt. Coke was out so I asked Alex if they could fix it. After a few minutes he came back out and informed me that they were completely out in the back but there was Coke Zero. I filled my drink with that and proceeded to have a good time visiting with my friends. I noticed Alex never stopped working the entire time we were there, and that was about 3 hours. He was sweeping and cleaning tables and clearing our empty dishes for us. After a couple of hours Alex approached our table and had a fountain drink and a straw in his hand. He set it down in front of me and told me that he knew that I had wanted a Dr. Coke but since they were out, he had gone to a neighboring restaurant and got me one. He had paid for it out of his own money. I expressed my surprise and immense gratitude and he just smiled and said that he knew that I wanted one so he got me one. I cannot tell you how much that meant to me. I hope you recognize what an amazing employee you have in Alex. He is AWESOME!!!

I love Costa Vida and will continue going, but my most recent experience was disappointing. I waited in the drive thru for a good 30-40 minutes and when I got home with my food I was pretty disappointed in the quantity given. The 8 oz refried beans side was only 1/3 of the way full- which is not an exaggeration. I had two other 8 oz sides that were also under halfway full. I think had I gone inside instead of the drive thru there wouldn’t have been a problem since there’s no way they would have only filled it that much with me standing right in front of them. Like I said- love the food, but I can’t recommend the drive thru. It was a pretty disappointing experience to only get 1/3 of what they advertise and what I’m paying for.

Honestly Costa vida is good when you have not much else to turn to. I just needed to say that the raspberry chipotle chicken is not it.... It tastes like jalapeno jam on chicken, and I consider jam a dessert, so I've got beans, pico, and dessert in one dish. Just my personal opinion for those curious to try it! Not worth it to me. And I like dessert cookies, so I like my sweets. This is not where sugar should go? Keep sweet and savory separate in this cuisine

I ordered Doordash pickup and got a small salad… they didn’t even put a tortilla in the salad. It’s not the end of the world, but was absolutely disappointing upon discovery once I had arrived home.

I'm not sure what has changed with this location. I mostly do pick up and they have been so off on their pick up times for awhile now. Waiting for 10-15 minutes past the time they gave me. The food is always good but it seems like they always miss at least one thing on an order. Disappointing
