Careful eating at Costa Vida in SS!!!
We ate there Tuesday night and got extreme food poisoning. My almost 2 yr old has been sick for days, the tomatoes were contaminated, which happened to be the only part of the meal she ate. She is still recovering, its been 3 days!
Ordered steak smothered burrito and paid an extra $4.99 for double steak and got maybe a forkful of steak in total. Sorry, but seeing this amount of steak in a normal burrito let alone double steak the person who made it had to have known they screwed it up while they were making it. Based on the reviews, Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill has good food and service. The best Costa Vida location is in Saratoga. The store is very clean with a good atmosphere. The food is always hot and consistently good every single time. One team member named Alex is a hard worker and absolutely fantastic. He checks on guests, brings items they may need, and cleans up spills. He keeps the tables clean and ready for the next guests. Alex is incredibly friendly and always greets people. He goes out of his way to open the door and brings a cup of water without being asked. He takes food to the trash and opens the door when guests are leaving. He is great with everyone and seems to truly care about the guest experience. However, some find it frustrating when there is a long line in the store while many employees are preparing food for online orders and door dashers.
