Steak Pit Restaurant

We have dined here on several occasions and the food has been very good. Service is excellent. Prices have risen over the years with the increase over the past year quite notable. The waiter was quite friendly, offering recommendations and met our requests with grace and kindness.

Went to Steak Pit with one of my friends on a Saturday night - we were staying at the Cliff Lodge - and we had the best time. The food was so good, I got an 8 oz Filet, and she got a Ribeye. We both kept talking about how good the steaks were. We also got Mushrooms and asparagus for our sides that we shared. Everything was delicious! Our server was Val, and she was awesome. She kept checking on us throughout the night, offered amazing service and was really knowledgeable about the menu. She even offered to arrange for us to get picked up and taken back to the Cliff Lodge since a huge snowstorm rolled in while we were dining. I thought that was really thoughtful and nice of her! We will definitely go back. Great drinks, great food and amazing service!

Evan was a high quality sever and doing above and beyond to provide great service to us. Food was yummy!

NY Strip wat the best I have had in the last 2 years. It was really busy but the servers we very attentive the hostess was very friendly and she was always checking to makesure everything was perfect. We will be back

Steaks were all cooked to the correct temperature and the side dishes were all very good. The scallop appetizer was very good.

Dinner /Steak was good but $$$$ to be expected. What I did not expect was my wife and I had the worst margarita (on the rocks with salt) I think I have ever had. I had to force myself to drink whatever it was. If we were not with two other couples I would have sent them back. How could they screw them up. Our ones at La Frontera two nights before were hands down better. That does not say a lot for the Steak Pit BAR. I did not spend $200 at La Frontera but got a better margarita.

Very good evening and great service. We were delayed for a late flight and the manager moved our appointment back to accommodate us.

We had a lovely dinner at the Steak Pit. The hostess was very nice and seated us at a beautiful table. Our server was helpful, but he forgot my tea and was a little slow with our drinks. We had the Trout and Ribeye steak, both were excellent. The baked potato was cooked perfectly, the only thing I had a problems with was that the asparagus was a little bit overseasoned. Overall everything was very good and we hope to revisit the Steak Pit this winter.

Great dinner, we sat outside, and that was a real treat with the heaters and the noise of the stream. Food was prepared to perfection. Always great service with such a professional and nice staff.

Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere beautiful! But they've changed their menu, and I don't love it. No more salad with blue cheese and Caesar dressing. They don't have any chicken, shrimp or pastas entrees, it's disappointing. If they change the menu, I'd go back.

Food was terrible for $70 steak! Both steaks ordered medium and were cooked and delivered to the table well done at best. Ribeye had no pink whatsoever and filet was leather. Server was great but the overall service was mediocre. Once a favorite, now a never again. Pick from another restaurant at Snowbird besides the Steak Pit.

Nothing like Snowbird and the Steak Pit. I was celebrating a birthday with a hike, chilling in the beautiful mountains at the resort and dinner with family. Excellent food, our waiter was informative and delightful. A wonderful evening.

We went here for my husband's birthday celebration and everything was great. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, wagyu ribeye. Salad, bread and a side come with an entree—we thought it was a la carte so that was a nice surprise. The service was excellent, too!

The food is underwhelming and the prices are very high for what you get, for example you get 5 scallops with the scallop entree and it's over $50

Our waiter was awesome. Jess was her name. She was funny, and quick to get the food out. Please give this young lady a raise.
