We had high expectations of this restaurant and looked forward to our dining experience but sadly it was a big disappointment. Starting with red wine that was served in mini wine glasses to the bison tartare overloaded on garlic and then outrageously priced mains that greatly differed in size, ie the Osso Bucco plate was double the size of the Scottish salmon for the same price. overall it's not worth the money we paid and it was by far the most expensive restaurant we went to during our trip.

Have dined here multiple times. Tonight was a disappointment, both with service and two of our four entrees. Server was not very friendly and quite unattentive. Over two hours for dinner which was very slow. They comp a meal but it was completely in eaten due to the poor quality. I hope they can improve because the atmosphere is great.

I've eaten the Cliff many times of many years (even as recently as this past March), including when there was sushi. On this visit, I was surprised by how limited the menu was, how exorbitantly priced it is (even by Snowbird standards), and the food was just "ok." Eating elsewhere for the rest of this stay...

The Aerie was just over taxed for their 4-course New Year's Eve dinner. Just too many guests, and not enough staff who were trained well enough. I think most of the wait staff were skiers, here temporarily for the ski season, from South America.

My food was service cold and took 45 minutes to from order to serve. So something went wrong in the kitchen. Servers were on top of their game. View is nice is you can get there before sundown. The food prep and taste is very good. They just did not deliver this time.

We had a terrible experience at The Aerie. We had a 5:45 reservation for my son's birthday. We had received one round of drinks after 45 minutes, and after still not having received our entrees by 7:30, over half of our group walked out. We spoke to the manager and he did his best to apologize, but unfortunately it ruined the evening. They are severely understaffed and need to limit the number of tables they seat until they fix their issues. We'll eat elsewhere at Snowbird in the future.

We had our christmas night based around this dinner. Apparently there was a problem with the reservation and when we got there, the place was basically closed and empty, but they were all waiting for us. The reception guy that really sweet by saying it was a mistake and the buffet was still open for us. But honestly I wouldn't have driven 2 hours and planned my christmas eve around having dinner in a place that's closed and everyone is waiting for me to be done so they can leave. So we got there, had a drink, which I honestly thought it would at least be complementary but wasn't, and just left. By the way, it was 9:30pm so it's not like we had a lot of other options at that point and we had already missed all the christmas dinner reservations. They asked me if i could come earlier before, but i would have liked an honest explanation before it was too late, so i could make a decision around it. We're not talking about any night. It was christmas eve, so I think explaining and giving us a chance to make a different decision wasn't too much to ask.

The Christmas Eve dinner was very underwhelming. Half a step up from Chuck a Rama. The place is great and the service was nice and friendly. I'd like to go there for normal service. But the Christmas Eve buffet was poor.

We had a wonderful family dinner to celebrate our first Alta/SnowBird ski trip. Paul, our waiter, was outstanding as well. Food excellent, little pricey but excellent quality.

Jenna was ROCKSTAR! We enjoyed all of it so much that we brought the family and in-laws back for Christmas.

We went for the thanksgiving buffet. Beautiful restaurant and facilites. The food was nothing to boast about. It was not kept warm, soups and chile were cold, turkey not as moist. Very expensive for the level of food.

This was for Thanksgiving and boy did they have a super spread of food to choose from. Everything I tasted was spectacular.

Great feast! Ham, crab cakes, and prime rib were exceptional. View was impacted by lack of snow in Wasatch Mts so far this season. ;(

The staff was very attentive the minute we walked into the restaurant. The recommendations off of the menu were spot on, and the food was delicious.
