The lodge is good enough and had a fireplace to warm up nearby. I would expect for Solitude that they would have a stellar lodge and so I was a little disappointed it was pretty average (food, ambiance, seating). It is a convenient place to sit and work or read while my kids are boarding. I usually bring my noise cancelling headset which helps drown out the loudness of all the kiddos in the lodge. They have a few charging plugs available for patrons as well. I make sure to charge up and then unplug so other people have a chance to share the outlets. You'll usually see several people working on their laptops.

Food is good but expensive and really slow if you order off the grill. Size of kitchen does not match the size of the crowd.

For this being the main lodge, it is always surprising to me how small the bathroom is. 3 stalls only. Needs updating!

Bathrokms are limited. The lodge is dated and nothing special. Pack a lunch ? Save yourself some money!Noteworthy details: Dtay in salt lake if you're looking for nightlife.

"Loaded fries" are mind bending(ly good). Otherwise generic ski lodge (which is good)

Ok place to eat. Expensive and crowded cafeteria. Right at bottom of lifts.

This is not a hotel. It is a day lodge for skiers. Close to car parking and ski slopes. There is a charge for car parking, but this is reduced mid week and for 2 or more in the car.

Great spot to grab some gear. Logo-ed apparel is pricey but worth it.

Came for a week of skiing. Mind you, I'm a beginner at best! The moderate runs were more than adequate to get the novice adrenaline pumping! Maybe a bit dramatic. They were all fun! The staff was incredible, all very helpful! Fun little resort with a variety of terrain to test the skills. I'll be back!

Gets really crowded and the food was average. If you are not skiing and waiting for your kids in Moonbeam, the manager will give you a hard time about saving tables.

Moonbeam lodge is great, but hard to find tables. Prefer to swing over to the Argenta Pub (if able)
