This place is always closed. They clearly are incapable of staffing this mid-mountain restaurant. If they did decide to actually make it happen this place would be amazing. The decision makers here need to be replaced asap with competent people.

Uncooked cheese curds SICK!This place is not a vibe so much I thought of skiing to Brighton for a 2nd lunch.Avoid the poutine curry and the undercooked burgers. Also ask yourself why they have a special on the pattys.

We took a ski break and stopped by the Roundhouse on Solitude Mountain for some drinks to refuel. Yes, an iced coffee, chocolate protein shake, and bottle of water cost 18 dollars, but the views from the deck were outstanding!

Maybe I’m snooty because I’m from NYC, but I thought the Himalayan / Indian food options were terribly spiced and didn’t taste fresh. Get something plain like a burger instead.

Food quality went drastically downhill and I will never be spending money here again. The vegetable curry used to great, but now it was one of the saddest meals I have ever purchased.

The poutine is great!Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian options but not manyParking: Parking is paid at Solitude but you can only get there via the liftWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible because you have to take the ski lift to get there.

The building is really cool and it was nice to have curry on a ski slope. The food quality was okay but nothing special. Not that I was surprised, but the prices were silly. $17.50 for a distinctly average hamburger. $4.75 for a 20 oz soda with no refills. $8.50 for fries. Just one more way Solitude is making skiing inaccessible for the average American.

Great mid mountain ski lodge at Solitude. Really nice food with a Tibetian flare.

The Indian food option on the ski hill is excellent, also music and views along with great service from Aida.

Conceptually, Indian food for on-mountain dining should work. To me it's never made any sense how many ski towns are without high-end Indian/Nepalese options considering the food is so nutritious and caloric density is so incredibly high. Execution here, though, is sloppy, with very watery curry, forgettable small-portion proteins, a scoop of rice, and a child's slice of naan bread. I'd instead recommend the American classics here such as the burger and chicken pot pie--both are totally fine. There is an Ikon discount here. But, note, they don't give "free" cups for water (which they chalk up to an environmental thing *eye roll*), so if you don't plan ahead and bring your own vessel, you're stuck paying a huge premium for a not-free bottle of something that will surely end up in a landfill once you've consumed the liquid. If management cares that much about the environment, they should switch exclusively to fountain drinks with reusable plastic cups. Hmmm...

We came here once for lunch during our day of skiing. I would have given it a 5 except the music at lunch our day was sooooo loud that we could not hear the person next to us speaking. Other wise a great spot with good food. We also came for St Patricks day and really enjoyed the music and the whole vibe. We danced, soaked up the sun and enjoyed the view.

What’s a day on the mountain without chili and a brewski. Reasonable prices ($7 beers upstairs), tasty bites and plenty of seating. Bonus points for having Indian food on the menu.

The best place to have lunch on the mountain at the best mountain resort solitude! Shhh don't tell anyone! The word is out this place is a big stop for many visitors but it's still awesome to stop.

The curry here smells amazing I got the goat curry for $15 It comes with 2 scoops of rice and half a pita Not much food for the money but I guess it is better not to stuff yourself before getting back on the slopes for the second half of the day The curry was very lacking in flavor, which was surprising considering how fragrant the lodge smelled
