Located within the Inn at Solitude, St. Bernard's is the main restaurant to dine at in this hotel. The breakfast buffet each time we visited was solid, and our dinner experiences at the restaurant were cozy and fantastic. The service our whole stay during breakfast and dinner was outstanding. We loved the library area of the restaurant, it is a great spot to hang out at after a long day of skiing. We highly recommend this place!

Food is surprisingly good with the elk tenderloin the standout. Service is beyond disinterested and bar is slow but the cocktails are good for Utah.

The service was great. They were very accommodating especially with my food allergies. The environment was beautiful. Nice place. Unfortunately the food was only OK. The short rib was a little tough and chewy, and the chicken breast was significantly overdone and tough / chewy. I'm sure of that because we went down to the valley the next night and had the same things elsewhere. The other restaurant did a much better job (and the dish was $13 (34%) cheaper. I understand the high cost of operating up at a resort, so I'm not attacking the price -- but for the price, the food has to be better. When you charge $38 for a grilled breast of chicken with mash potatoes, you have to get it right. Sorry, but I'm not sorry for saying that.

Only came here for the Valentines day specials.... show up, get seated, handed menus, and TALKED to about the specials for the night. to then 15 minutes later i try to order the steak and salmon that are the specials, that i was just pitched. To then being told that they have been out for both options for awhile now.... Why hand me the separate menus? Why pitch it to me when i sit down. And again the only reason i was coming here in the first place was for the steak.... for sure put a massive setback in what was supposed to be a nice valentines day dinner. let alone severely undercooked the Elk...

There are not a lot of dining choices in Solitude Village, however, St. Bernard's is certainly one worth getting to. The staff (particularly server Axel) and manager (Jake) are professionally friendly. Jake knows his way around wine. Entree's are limited ,however, there is a desire for them to use local which is appreciated.

Best place on Solitude hands down the other places didn't compare. Food and drinks were great. We got the Elk, duck and chicken and they are all great. No other place on the mountain is as good. Axel was phenomenal and a great server he directed is in the right direction.also a good wine selection.

My server Brian was absolutely amazing. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the restaurant. He gave me good tips on where we should visit on and off the resort. The food was fantastic and I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Great quality food! Solid cocktails. Fun ambiance. Waiter was sub par but give him the benefit of the doubt. Other waiter picked up some slack so team work good to see. I'd recommend!!

The staff and management were friendly and professional. They provide personal service that makes you feel like you are eating at your home but with a better menu! The food was amazing and the drinks creative. Can't wait to eat there again!

A single diner at St Bernard's on New Year's Eve is seated at the bar where they can watch themselves dine in the mirror behind the ornate liquor bottles. The bar is never my first choice options are limited in a small alpine ski village. The bartender, Sarah, and gave me a warm welcome and after listening to my qualms about dining at the bar, Sarah went out of her way to discuss an open table option with the maître de. She found a table with later reservations that would satisfy my needs. In a busy restaurant on New Year's Eve, Sarah changed my initial reticent attitude into an enjoyable dining experience. I had the Wagyu filet with caramelized vegetable entry, which was excellent. The salad buffet was equally enjoyable with the butternut squash lobster bisque an amazing treat. A desert of figgy pudding complemented the entire experience. St Bernard's as its name implies has a Swiss Alp atmosphere with warm lighting, fireplaces and large picture windows with panoramic views of snow covered mountains and ski slopes. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive to your needs, and sincerely want you to have a wonderful experience.

Our server, Sarah deserves a gold star! She was wonderful as were all of the staff. Wagyu beef, salmon, butternut squash soup were among the highlights. The roaring fire added the perfect touch to a lovely Christmas Eve dinner

We just had a surprisingly awesome dinner at St Bernard's at Solitude! The menu is sophisticated and innovative, featuring Alpine inspired cuisine. The winter salad was complex and really delicious, and the raclette is perfect for apres ski. It's worth the drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon even if you're not skiing!
