Absolutely no idea what the hype is. Worst Indian I’ve had since moving to Utah. The veggie korma was literally a bag of frozen veggies (corn, yuck!), thrown in some sauce. Salt lake foodie recommended and now I’ll be deleting them off FB if this is the crap they’re recommending. Tiny overpriced portions too

I had such a great experience at Bawarchi! The biryani rice was simply delicious, perfect spice, perfect texture, and full of authentic flavor. The naan deserves its own shout-out: soft, fresh, and easily the best naan I’ve had. If you love Indian food, this place is a must-try!

I have visited Bawarchi in many other cities and they were all good. But, this bawarchi in SLC is not worth going. The food was stale, the biryani rice was raw, they say its Hyderabadi dum Biryani but the Biryani is no where near to a dum biryani. It was raw rice with with what looked like chicken65. The chicken was in red masala in a dum biryani, which shouldn’t be the case. For the tandoori dished, is said it would come in a sizzled but it came in a cold plate. The meats were dry for the kebabs. This is no where near to any other Bawarchi

Very nice tongue savory varieties. Jobin helped us choose from the Goat Masala with hot tandoor roti and chicken fried rice. Nice host, all smiles.

Not the best for East Indian food. The chicken was overcooked and tough, the flavor was on the bland side and the naan was tasteless. There are far more appealing options in the area. HOWEVER, the mango lassi was good.
