Absolutely delicious!!!

Excellent service. Great food. Kevin the manager was friendly and helpful. This was by far the best Cafe Rio in the state. We drive over from Sandy.

We love Cafe Rio in So Jordan! The staff is always so friendly and kind and remember us when we go back. Taco Tuesday is the best! It is such a great deal and we don't miss it!!

Take out order missing several side items and the whole thing was a sloppy mess. Even took it back after coming home and they didn’t even offer to give me a new hot replacement. After many years of going there, not going back!

It’s disappointing to see how much this place has declined. The new staff clearly lacks the attention to detail and care that once made this location stand out. Portions have been reduced significantly — especially the meat, now served in embarrassingly small amounts.

My recent visits have been nothing short of frustrating. Tonight around 7:00 p.m., I received a piece of meat so overwhelmingly salty that it was simply inedible. I had no choice but to throw it away. The salad, once fresh and well-prepared, was delivered with large, sloppy cuts that felt rushed and careless.

Café Rio in South Jordan used to be a benchmark of quality for me and my family. Sadly, if immediate improvements are not made, you will lose the loyalty of customers who genuinely appreciated what this place once offered.

I strongly encourage management to seriously evaluate the current team and take swift action. This location’s reputation was built on excellence — it would be a shame to let that legacy slip away so easily.

This place has gone downhill. The new staff is doing a poor job — portions are way smaller than before, especially the meat, which now comes in tiny, disappointing amounts.

I used to love Café Rio in South Jordan and always gave it top ratings. But if things don’t improve immediately, you’re going to lose an entire family of loyal customers.

Management needs to seriously address the staff’s performance and the declining food quality — this is far from the excellence that once defined this location.

Disgusting, I've been to a couple locations but this one is the worst. Every time I go to this location the ingredients are disgusting and old, or they get my order completely wrong. To put it simply they do not care if it's done correctly or not.

Coming from NYC, Cafe Rio is an unexpectedly delightful surprise! This location is my local go to for fresh fast Mexican food. I absolutely cannot get enough of the chicken tortilla soup and the Sweet Pork burrito and salad are to die for. Fresh quality ingredients are obviously a primary goal but I find customer service also to exemplary, particularly at this location. Showcased by Odalis, who is always friendly and professional while providing fast and excellent service. HIGHLY recommend.

This is one of the most flavorful Cafe Rio's that we have visited, but no Cafe Rio is 5 stars in my mind. Lol. Clean and friendly atmosphere!

I've been ordering food from Cafe Rio for 10+ years. I've never had a bad experience. Until now. Main meal was OK but the Tres Leches cake was hard, like it had been sitting in their fridge overnight or for days. I always look forward to it whenever I order so this was a real disappointment. And no easy way to get a refund as I ordered from Doordash and they don't refund you if you got the correct food regardless of it's quality.

UPDATE: I called Cafe Rio and they did give me a credit for the cake on my rewards account so they get a star back. I just hope management looks into this so it doesn't happen again. Throw your old stuff away!

Delicious food. Lots of choices. Healthier than most Mexican food but you won't leave hungry with the large portions. I can easily split the Steak Salad with my husband (who rolls his into Tacos!) Some may question the cafeteria style line, but in the end you get the food much faster unless the line is to the door.

They brought Fideo back here. We got a takeout order and got a tasteless, watery, hardly filled container with huge stems of cilantro and long slimy noodles. Not the dish I remember from years ago and was excited to try again. We drove much farther than our local Cafe Rio since only select locations brought Fideo back. We are disappointed and would not recommend wasting your money on that dish.
