Twice I have gone to this location on a Friday night just after 10pm just to be informed by the workers that they closed at 10pm. Even though their google listing says they are open until 11pm. This last time when I walked in at 10:15pm the worker said they were closed and that they closed at 10pm. When I asked their Google listing showed that they were open until 11pm she said "oh that's so it gives us workers an hour to clean up for the night"....are you serious? That's not how that works. If you are going to close at 10pm then update your Google listing so you stop wasting your customers time, hopes, and dreams for sweet comfort of really good Ice Cream creations.

Was underwhelmed last time we came a few years back due to the high priced average ice cream, but my son won a gift card so we decided to come back and give it a another try. But this time was worse as the portions were severely lacking. I ordered the Love It size but it was barely Like It size. It was pretty much melted so no ice cream consistency. And it was supposed to have whipped cream topping and I got just barely an inch and a half long spray of whipped cream. So we got burned again....paid way too much for barely average ice cream. Handel's is much better quality and you get more for your money. Won't be back to Cold Stone any more other than for my son to use the rest of his gift card.

My kids and I all love Cold Stone. We’ve been going to different locations in Utah for years, since we’ve moved around a lot. It’s so disappointing that this location at The District isn’t good.
The vibe with the staff isn’t welcoming. We feel like we should apologize for coming in and placing an order. My 12 year old didn’t understand how to explain it other than “well they aren’t very nice”. They aren’t. They never seem to be at this location.
Tonight, and this has happened two other times, we tried to order door dash. There was 25 minutes left before they stopped taking orders. I tried multiple times to place the order but kept getting a response informing me the location is too busy to accept orders.
So, I called and shared my concern. It was not busy, per the person I spoke with. I asked if they could remove that order block. I was told that’s a Door Dash issue.
So, I placed the order on Uber Eats. It processed and should have been delivered in 20 minutes. At about 20 minutes I received a notification that my order was not able to be processed.
It seems very much like the employees at this location don’t like making ice cream

The cake batter ice cream with Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is to die for but unfortunately the portions get smaller and smaller every time I go here.

This locations customer service absolutely sucked! I went in and the vibes were already off. The employees were being so incredible rude to the customers in front of my boyfriend and I. The girl was making disgusted faces and rolling her eyes at this couple simply placing an order. When it came up to our turn they were talking and ignoring the fact they had customers right in front of them. Specifically when it was my turn to order the girl laughed and scuffed at my choice of ice cream. We felt unwelcome and like an annoyance for walking into the store.

Friday night.....ONE employee running the entire store. Making everything, and running the register. Not her fault, but I saw no less than 20 people walk up and leave because the line is out the door.

The staff were very kind and welcomed us as we walked in. They also accommodated our expired coupon. I sampled the cheesecake ice cream (it was superb) and ordered the Cheesecake Fantasy off the Signature Creations menu. I was excited about it, but it came out with frozen fruit rather than the fresh berries shown in the picture. It didn't specify that they were frozen in the description either. I was honestly disappointed.

Are they scooping ice cream or building rocket ships for SpaceX? Because the incompetent teenagers working here say ice cream, but the hour long wait says SpaceX.IT’S ICE CREAM. ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS SCOOP IT!!! GOOD LORD.

The management of this location should be embarrassed by the level of service. I understand good employees are hard to come by these days, but our experience was simply unacceptable. We walked in to a completely empty store and stood by the counter for more than 3 minutes without being welcomed. Once I finally asked for service, the young lady simply walked over and looked at me— didn’t say a single word. It was painfully awkward. The other girl sat at the register on her cell phone while one girl made 3 orders for my family. Do better Cold Stone.

STAFF YOUR FREAKING STORE. Every time I come here I feel horrible for the employees. Once I came here on prom night and the line was out the door and there were only two people working. I’ve currently been waiting for almost half an hour to get served with only a handful of people in front of me because there’s only one person working right now which I’m sure isn’t legal or fair to this poor employee.He is doing great keeping up with the workload, but I’m ashamed of the management here that is willing to let one kid run a whole store on a Friday afternoon. It’s gross honestly.
