They stopped selling their German chocolate cake ice cream and got rid of the coconut flakes so they can't make it. It's the only reason I came to this place. Unfortunately I won't be back, but I used to love it!

If I could give my experience a zero I would!!! I went in to the shop with my grandson and the girl who waited on us was so rude we left. I refuse to go back to this Coldstone again.

Had one guy on shift last night, took forever to get anything at all…

Honestly extremely disappointed… Waited 20 minutes with about 3 groups in line!!! They had one employee on shift serving up all the ice cream. Props to that guy, I think his name started with an A? Crazy to me you have a popular ice cream store located next to a movie theatre with only one employee scheduled on shift. I won’t be coming back here, simply off the fact that they don’t schedule enough people to work… Poor guy seemed overworked and underpaid, I’m sorry but I really can’t support this. Get it together Coldstone!!!

The floor was a mess, equipment broken, employees couldn’t have cared less about what they were doing. Grabbing toppings with their hands instead of scoops. Stone was filthy covered in crumbs, fudge bottles, dirty scoops. It was a mess! For the price you pay, it was very disappointing to say the least.

They have a little outside area to sit.

Parking is a little tricky here its a toss of a flipcoin you may park close or park on the other side.

This place has sitting area inside, only thing i didnt like the guy was basically breathing on my ice cream while he was building it.

Hygene and basic food handlers common sense was lacking here.

Servers are very unfriendly, tables inside were dirty and the server acted mad when I asked to have it cleaned. No napkins. The outside table was filthy, not only with ice cream, but bird crap. We were here June 10, 2025 6:00 p.m.

What a FILTHY PLACE THIS IS!!!! The bathrooms are disgusting AND no napkins in the whole building. Won’t ever be back. I’m headed home to shower after such an atrocious trip here!!!! AND THEY HAD THE NERVE TO ASK FOR A TIP HAHAHAHA here’s a tip, get your crap together!

I want to acknowledge the one girl who was working on Saturday, May 17. She was working alone and it was pretty busy when I came in. She didn’t seem to let it bother her at all. She worked quickly, but didn’t rush the customers. She was friendly and had a smile on her face. It’s sad that she was working alone, especially on a Saturday, but I was so impressed with her customer service! She needs a raise!

Twice I have gone to this location on a Friday night just after 10pm just to be informed by the workers that they closed at 10pm. Even though their google listing says they are open until 11pm. This last time when I walked in at 10:15pm the worker said they were closed and that they closed at 10pm. When I asked their Google listing showed that they were open until 11pm she said "oh that's so it gives us workers an hour to clean up for the night"....are you serious? That's not how that works. If you are going to close at 10pm then update your Google listing so you stop wasting your customers time, hopes, and dreams for sweet comfort of really good Ice Cream creations.

Was underwhelmed last time we came a few years back due to the high priced average ice cream, but my son won a gift card so we decided to come back and give it a another try. But this time was worse as the portions were severely lacking. I ordered the Love It size but it was barely Like It size. It was pretty much melted so no ice cream consistency. And it was supposed to have whipped cream topping and I got just barely an inch and a half long spray of whipped cream. So we got burned again....paid way too much for barely average ice cream. Handel's is much better quality and you get more for your money. Won't be back to Cold Stone any more other than for my son to use the rest of his gift card.

My kids and I all love Cold Stone. We’ve been going to different locations in Utah for years, since we’ve moved around a lot. It’s so disappointing that this location at The District isn’t good.
The vibe with the staff isn’t welcoming. We feel like we should apologize for coming in and placing an order. My 12 year old didn’t understand how to explain it other than “well they aren’t very nice”. They aren’t. They never seem to be at this location.
Tonight, and this has happened two other times, we tried to order door dash. There was 25 minutes left before they stopped taking orders. I tried multiple times to place the order but kept getting a response informing me the location is too busy to accept orders.
So, I called and shared my concern. It was not busy, per the person I spoke with. I asked if they could remove that order block. I was told that’s a Door Dash issue.
So, I placed the order on Uber Eats. It processed and should have been delivered in 20 minutes. At about 20 minutes I received a notification that my order was not able to be processed.
It seems very much like the employees at this location don’t like making ice cream

The cake batter ice cream with Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is to die for but unfortunately the portions get smaller and smaller every time I go here.

It was very good ice cream. I know the place is small, but maybe if they had one more table, & chairs especially in the winter months, would be good.
