Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food

I was the only customer. I ordered a mini, she didn't give me cabbage. I didn't say anything. Ordered to go, after she rang me up and paid she rudely threw me my to go and walked away. I guess she was disappointed i didn't tip. I have a hard time tipping after rushing through a line , dinning out and haven't got to try my food.
My chicken was cold, had to warm it up and my food was all to one side, maybe after she threw it, not sure.
I wish they would do away with expecting a tip with fast food, makes the check out a very awkward experience and in this case treated rude....
Will look for places that don't ask for tips on fast food.

IDK why this location doesn't handle orders like the other ones do by WRITING DOWN THE MEAT SELECTIONS ON THE BOX AT THE START OF THE LINE, but it created a huge mess as the wake and bakes working there couldn't keep track of what was what. And the eye roll from the one eyed manager really sealed the deal on me never coming back. I want my money back.

They charged me $18 horrible service.

This was the first visit i ordered the teriyaki chicken mini. The taste was fabulous, and it was enough for 2 people. The personnel were great, and the price was awesome. My meal fed myself and my granddaughter for a little over $11.00. Thank you for a great experience.

I usually love this place but my wife and I got rice with chicken and steak and the steak was absolutely terrible, 90% of it was all scrap of fat that we couldn't even chew through. The steak used to be my favorite👎also think they could give a little bit bigger scoop of macaroni, it's like two bites worth.

It's pretty sad when you get your order and the proteins are completely missing. I'd love to be able to recommend the Kalua Pig or Teri Chicken, but someone couldn't be bothered to add them to the container. At least they managed to put the mac salad and rice in the container before "completing the order." Sheesh!!

I ordered online with pickup time for 2:33. I arrived at the store at 2:35 and I it’s 3pm and I am still sitting here waiting for my order. It is outrageous.

They say they are out of chicken but I’ve seen at least 5-6 different parties ordering in store and they didn’t have to wait for chicken. It is just ridiculous that one have to wait 30min for my order on a fast food restaurant.

Food wasn’t bad but the employees made it feel like hell. Manager yelled at me and my friends (about 10 people) for standing in line and told us not to be in the way of other people trying to order so the people that weren’t buying got out of the line. Then as we are sharing our food having a good meal the manager lady comes over and accuses us of stealing drinks when one person had a drink in our whole group and it was payed for. Honestly a terrible experience would not recommend.

My order was to go. The salad was very good with the oriental dressing and teriyaki chicken. Could have done with a bit more dressing, but otherwise satisfying.

I used to be a big fan of Mo’ Bettahs, eating here at least once a week. Over the last couple years, the customer service and portion sizes have decreased drastically while the prices have increased. They’re having a Chipotle portion-size epidemic. Every time I go here I leave mad now. I know several other friends who no longer eat here, due similar reasons. Still, I’ve tried to support and keep eating at a restaurant I love—but no longer. Tonight, I spent over $20 tonight for one Ekolu plate that is half the size that it would’ve been a few years ago and cost ~$5 more now. Further, I was treated poorly by the skater-girl cashier who was seemingly burdened by my presence (but who was fine 60 seconds earlier talking unprofessionally with her buddies checking out). My wife and I used to be able to share one Ekolu plate. Now, I can eat an Ekolu by myself and not feel full. Also, Mo’ Bettahs charges extra for teriyaki sauce now and doesn’t even fill up the packets halfway that they give you. I guess they really want customers to spend even more money buying their signature sauce bottles that are strategically placed in every corner of the restaurant. That’s why I get charged extra now for an extra 0.1oz of teriyaki sauce. Too bad I don’t have enough food to even put it on, so I refuse to buy the sauce. I really hope management takes a look at their company vision and recognizes that their loyal customers aren’t satisfied with the product anymore. If they don’t then they’ll follow the same downhill course as other fast food Hawaiian chains like R&R. Tonight was really the last time I’ll ever give money to Mo’ Bettahs. It’s sad, but I refuse to support a business with horrible customer service and one that continually gives skimpier and skimpier portion sizes. I really loved this restaurant several years ago. I hope they get things figured out.
