Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza

We have pizza night every Friday night. I have never ordered from papa Murphys and was excited to order some Valentine’s Day heart shaped pizza for my family to enjoy. With that being said I had the absolute worst experience with Jeff at this papa Murphy’s location. I received notification that it was picked up at 5:21..I kept getting notifications that my order was going to arrive by a certain time. First I received a text that it was expected to be delivered at 5:29 then it was 5:32 and it kept getting delayed(it should’ve been within 15 minutes MAX as I only live a short distance from there)..it was eventually delivered to me 45 minutes after it was originally picked up. I chose the specific time I did because I expected it to be delivered at the time I selected. I planned my night around that time. At that point I ended up having to feed my kids something else for dinner so we didn’t even end up needing or wanting the pizzas. I expressed concerns to Jeff the “manager” that not only was it delivered 45 minutes after it was picked up but that I was concerned with the food safety aspect of it being at an unsafe temperature. for that long. He was immediately argumentative, defensive, and rude saying there was snow that day. As if I’m in control of the weather. I understand that there’s snow but if weather is something that’s going to get in the way of the business that’s being provided they shouldn’t allow delivery orders and only allow pick up orders. With it being a cold day that made me even more nervous as the driver probably had the heat on in the car and especially with meat and chicken on my pizza that wasn’t a risk I was willing to take. He was very rude and had an attitude the entire time. Instead of being apologetic and professional he was trying to justify the delay and health safety concerns by saying “well we recommend that it’s left out for an hour before cooking, and that it’s fine to be left out for 4 hours”. That’s great when the temperature is in a controlled and appropriate environment, but when there’s heat likely blasting on my chicken we have an issue. I physically saw my driver delivering other orders on my street prior to mine, which I understand that’s how they make their money by delivering a bunch of orders. however being 45 past the time the food was picked up is a time management issue in itself, as well as a health hazard that needs to be accounted for. This manager needs a reality check and I hope that our phone call gets selected by papa Murphy’s corporate team and evaluated so they know how poor that locations management is and how much basic training and accountability he lacks (mentioned in MULTIPLE other reviews as well). I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering from here. As a first and last time customer I didn’t need to be confronted with an abrasive pizza employee. I regret ever trying this place. Safe and glad to say I will never ever recommend or order from here again.

Papa Murphy’s on Halloween is a tradition for our family. We love the family-size Jack-o-lantern pizza and we order it ahead of time to avoid the long holiday lines. Our pizza was ready as expected and delicious. It fueled us for a long night of trick-or-treating!

I ordered a family pizza and cheesy bread in the app for pickup. It said it would take 31 minutes at the quickest which seemed long. When I arrived 20 minutes later, it was already waiting. Which is what seems to happen often.

They are awesome here! They always get my order right and on-time. I can call in over the phone and they are always efficient and friendly.

Easy mobile app to order online. It used to have technical issues accepting coupon codes, but that issue seems to have been fixed.

The small amount of toppings was ridiculous $18.77 family size but it was only worth 5 bucks ripped off also the crust was tough and didn't rise seems like papa Murphy cut costs and isn't using the correct amount of yeast if any I don't think I'll be a papa fan anymore....

Always fresh snd delicious. Easy to bake and preferred over other pizza places because of variety and fresh baked taste!
