The older woman working the drive through is the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. Find people who actually want to work. Don’t go to this location 🤮

Every visit here is such a great experience — the drinks are always perfect, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the team makes you feel like family.

I came to this Starbucks at 11:05am on 9/29 to order the same drink I have ordered for years, which is an iced mint tea (I don’t drink caffeine). I was given a hot tea and explained that I ordered it iced, and the manager (blonde woman) came back to the window and rudely told me that there is new policy that you cannot order hot drinks iced, and that Starbucks was really cracking down and that she would not risk getting fired to remake the drink but they could offer me a green iced tea. I said I don’t drink caffeine and asked if they could just pour it over ice for me instead of remaking it and she was extremely hostile and rude with her response and said no, you aren’t listening to me. I just called the Riverton Starbucks and confirmed that this is NOT the policy, and the employee there said she even makes her mint tea iced for herself as well and that I could come anytime to get my tea there instead. I will never go back to the South Jordan location due to how rude and hostile they were over the temperature of a tea!

I came into the lobby to get a pecan latte, and the lady taking my order was very rude. She kept rolling her eyes at me and acting like she wished she could be anywhere but there. After she made and gave me my drink, I got in my car, and it was terrible. Super watered down. I called to let them know that I’d like to get it remade, and they said they couldn’t. Which is crazy bc I’ve had them remake drinks here before. This location is really bad at making drinks correctly.

We went to the drive thru today, and Michael took are order, he was so friendly and sweet, the drinks were perfect. Seriously the best customer service I’ve experienced. We joked about this Starbucks being a luxury version because he was just so great, and not only was the service perfect but it was fast too despite us ordering complicated drinks. Definitely a good face for the business, this Starbucks is not the closest one to me but will definitely start going here! I hope he’s considered for a promotion or raise of some type because he was amazing!

The older woman at the window with fake red in her hair has quite the attitude. We asked a question and she seemed so irritated with us. And we spent 30 dollars on a few drinks. I think this isn’t the location to support

Horrible experience.
I’ve been to this location a few times with friends, but my last visit was unacceptable. We were sitting for about 10 minutes waiting for another friend to order drinks when a staff member came over and rudely told us we couldn’t sit without ordering.
When we decided to leave, my friend explained that it was because of her behavior. At that point, another staff member actually yelled at us and said, “Don’t come back.”
I’ve reported this incident to Starbucks and am leaving this review for visibility. I won’t be returning, but I sincerely hope the staff here learn basic courtesy and professionalism.

Had to get on here and say thank you to Michael for his patience with me today in the drive-through. I didn’t know what I wanted to order and he patiently talked me through it. It’s impossible to find people with great attitudes and awesome service. I’ll definitely come back to this location just for that! My coffee frappe with vanilla + ex shot was perfect!
