My wife and I were in town celebrating our 20th anniversary. We were looking for a great restaurant, hoping for a fantastic dining experience. The wild rose did not disappoint, we had an incredible time and enjoyed the visit from beginning to end. All of the food was high-quality and cooked perfectly to order. From the appetizers, to the main course and dessert. Great service as well. Highly recommended!

Went for Valentine's Day. Food and service was great, but was $250+ for 2 people. Not sure I'd come back based on the cost. Wouldn't say it met expectations for that price level.

While the food was excellent, serving sizes have decreased while prices have increased. Smallest elk chops I've ever seen. The chocolate mousse was in a smaller glass than in the past, but to make it worse, it was layered with air in the cup and was probably only half full, very disappointing.
Nice ambiance. Food was high quality and looked beautiful and delicious. It was very cold that evening and the restaurant was cold and were served ice water on a cold day. We took our coats off and had to put them back since I almost started to shiver. Lots of people around us were dressed very nicely but were wearing over-coats to keep warm. Portions were small. Salad, pasta and shrimp left me hungry to the point I considered hitting fast food on the way to our next venue. Pasta was roughly a small handful. We were able to fill up on extra bread and butter. Thank you!

Every food item was extremely delicious except for one. We ordered the elk chops. We had eaten the elk at their sister restaurant Tiburon, many times, and were expecting the same melt-in-your-mouth experience. The chops were tough and difficult to chew. The glaze on the chops was exceptional but the meat itself was far from exceptional. We won't order that item again. Maybe they were just having a bad night.

We don't eat out much, because the quality of fast food is scary, and better food hits the budget hard, but the Wild Rose is our new favorite place now. We've only been twice so far, but both times we got very different entrees and appetizers and everything was most delicious--and the service is fantastic! This time around, we brought some friends, so they could also experience the Wild Rose, and thankfully also hit the day they had their live musician, and that made it divine!!
