This place is operationally short sighted and poorly managed. They’ll have a queue of 10 people, stacked with online orders, 7 employees working and only one person making orders, while the other six clean. Why, really, I genuinely want to know, WHY?The point of placing an online order is the convenience and being able to get it ahead of the line, BUT, at the Riverdale location, you can submit your online order, wait over an hour, and the people that walk in get served before you. Online orders are last. I like Cafe Rio and wish there was a closer location, because the people working here are garbage.Who manages this place, because you suck at prioritizing customers’ orders.After an hour wait, still got the order wrong!

There is nothing good to say about this specific restaurant. It is the dirtiest place I have ever seen. The counter had old dry food all over, and the bins that hold the items to assemble the menu items had food in between the bins. The food in the bins was dry and old looking, not fresh. I started to look a little closer to the area, and the counters further back had food all over them, and floors were the same. The dining room floors looked like they had not been swept all day. I like cafe rio,but I will never return to this establishment.

We've been to a few Cafe Rios and this location is one of the best. They are always quick and delicious. They always get our order right! We love that Cafe Rio has a rewards program so you can get free food. I am obsessed with the sweet pork salad and my husband loves their burritos. If you like Chipotle this place is way better.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and kid seating.
They don’t know how to make the food right. And obviously aren’t very good at making sure their environment is sanitary. I’m very dissatisfied with my experience.

I have ordered now several times from this location for delivery the order has always been incorrect or they don't have the ingredients I order or put ingredients on that I didn't want. The customer service when you complain is always very polite and nice. But this location seems to be having a lot of issues and maybe the staff need to be retrained or just a full restructure. A new location should be better not worse.

I've loved Cafe Rio for about 15 years; It has been my favorite mexican place, but this location has really sucked, and it makes me reconsider if the company has gone bad. Today, the salad was wilty, the pork did not bring the usually delicious flavor, the tortilla was dried out, and they forgot to include the extra sauce I ordered and paid for. Last time they screwed up our to-go order, I drove back to make it right; today, I'm done with this location. They have ruined the memory of Cafe Rio, from when it was actually fresh and delicious.

Place was clean, workers were helpful. My salad was horrible though. I had to remove two fist fulls of lettuce from the salad to make it manageable, the shredded chicken was clumped in two three large pieces, and there was enough liquid in the bottom of the salad. Making my whole meal a soup and salad for $13.
This place is just sucks for what I expect from cafe Rio. Their drive through is always closed. They give the smallest proportions. The hours don't match the google listing. I honestly don't know who manages or owns this but they need to take a look at their store.
We stopped here after a day at Crystal Springs Got Spring. Order the chicken quesadilla with salad. When we entered the tables we spotless and very clean. The line was short to ordering only took 5 minutes. Food was at expectation with a great taste and larger portion. The salad option we chose vs rice and beans was amazing. We we so hungry and it was ao good we forgot to take pictures.Parking lot lis large but getting in then out is can be confusing.Worth the stop.

I ordered pickup and I was waiting for 10 minutes while it said on the screen that my order was ready. There was not a single other customer in the store at this time. So they were not busy. Then when someone finally came over to me they couldn’t find my order and it was just sitting there in the back I guess.Then as I was getting ready to leave with my order an employee stopped me and told me to give her a 5 star review. I was like I have to go and she insisted that it would be quick and at that point I was like it would be quicker to do this then to argue with her.She hovered over my shoulder making sure I gave 5 stars on each item.When I got home the food was cold but that’s not the end of the world.
