I ordered yeolmu naengmyeon to-go after lunch at here and specifically requested the noodles and broth to be packed separately so my family could eat it later at home. Unfortunately, I was given what appeared to be bibim naengmyeon instead. When I got home later, the noodles had already absorbed the sauce and become soggy. I was really looking forward to enjoying cold yeolmu naengmyeon, the food itself was fine, but so this was so disappointing.

We just moved to SLC from Toronto, Canada. I was sort of sad to see the lack of good authentic Asian food around here but we came across this place after car shopping. I am Korean and having lived in Korea town in Toronto for many years, I was glad to have come across this place yesterday. It wasn’t the best I’ve had, but the best in SLC by far. The bimbimbap is a 10/10. Love how they actually use the stone bowl to crisp the rice. A lot of places don’t do that anymore. Jajangmyun, 7/10, could amp up the flavour a a lot more and a bit watery. Banchan, 8/10, the oi much in (cucumber kimchi) and musangchae (shredded radish) tasted like what grandma used to make. I mean all in all, not bad for what SLC has to offer, which is pretty weak on the food/restaurants front. But finding little gems here and there, and this would be one of them!

Worst experience ever!! I am apart of the same party that left a review about a hair. I feel the need to add on to what he had to say so that people have a clear understanding of what happened here. We are visiting from out of town and we’re actually recommended this place by a local that we met the day before our visit. We were thrilled to go see what the place had to offer and excited to see utah’s “china town”. When we first arrived at the restaurant we were seated immediately, given water, and menus and everything was great. We ordered a few things to share between 7 people. Ttekboki was one of things that we ordered and when it came out it looked ok, but the taste was very off putting. It tasted sour like and had a funky smell. It was not until after somebody had been eating it that one of the people we were with pulled a LONG hair out of it. We were of course immediately grossed out and stopped eating asap and notified our server. He didn’t really seem surprised and just took the plate with the hair off the table without a word. He came back to our table a couple minutes later and said that he believed we put the hair there on purpose to get our meal comped. We of course were angry at the restaurants response to a mistake that could’ve been easily fixed with an apology and comping that item. We asked for the check and it had a automatic %20 gratuity that they did not notify us about anywhere and they in my opinion did not deserve. We had seen them maybe once before our incident and they didn’t even bring us more water. Very sad and disappointed with our experience here and will not ever return. Don’t waste your time here!!!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
The food was terrible. The Galbi was flavorless. The chefs truly do not know how to cook Korean food. We also found hair in our food and when we asked them to take it off the bill because we did not want to eat it they tried to blame us saying we put the hair there. Their excuse was that nobody had long hair there but I saw 3+ older lady’s with hair that looked the exact same as the one we found. Terrible Service, terrible food, terrible environment.

Came here for lunch! Was seated immediately and served bonchon. Loved the quick service- the staff was very attentive!

We got sundubu with pork, which was good and hit the spot. We also got beef bulgogi as part of a combo deal. However, we didn’t love the beef bulgogi. I feel like it wasn’t super flavorful. Overall though, this place hit the spot when craving Korean food!

Not authentic. You can have soup with more flavor by getting an instant soup, adding tofu, an egg and tablespoon of finely chopped beef. But we already ate the sides so we stayed..., sides were just okay. Wish I just went elsewhere, for these prices you can just go to korean bbq and get a much better taste.

Food was fine, combination plates are much smaller and not worth the money. Food wasn't spicy and way too salty.

Place is big with lots of space, loved that! Customer Service was good. Food came pretty fast but food sucked. Bulgogi had no taste, Galbi was probably the worst I’ve had. It wasn’t marinated and very chewy. If you’re looking for chicken katsu or ton katsu, this is not it! Also, they are pricier than similar restaurants but portions are smaller.

Best Korean food I’ve had in Utah. Very authentic, very delicious. Portion sizes are large, so plan to split them. We had the pajeon and the dukmandu guk soup. 10/10!!
