We’ve been loyal customers since this location first opened and have always loved the food. Unfortunately, our recent experience was really disappointing.

I placed a pickup order through the app (scheduled for 2:50–3:00) but got a notification at 2:40 saying it was ready early. When I arrived, the staff told me someone else had mistakenly taken my order, but they would remake it.

A few to several minutes later, the server actually went out to the parking lot and retrieved my original bag from the person who had taken it (the car was sitting in the parking lot for some reason). He then tried to hand it to me. I explained I’d prefer a freshly made order since I couldn’t be sure what had happened with that bag. They agreed, and I waited another 5–10 minutes. (Though I did wonder... if they were remaking it already, why would they even try to give the bag to me and not ask??)

When the server apologized before i left, I even told him it wasn’t his fault, and I truly don’t think it was. But it seems like whoever was running the kitchen decided to hand me the original order instead of remaking it as promised.

When I got home (only about 3 minutes away) the chicken was cold. Not just warm, but clearly not freshly made. I believe they gave me the same bag that had already been out. We place takeaway orders many times from this restaurant, and 3 minutes should not make the food cold. It was never an issue before.

From a longtime customer’s perspective, this experience broke a bit of trust. At least, don't lie that the food was remade.... I’m genuinely frustrated to say this because I’ve always been a big fan, but the quality and care weren’t there this time. Hoping it was just a one-off, but it definitely left a bad impression.

bb.q Chicken are located through out U. S. And they all taste great. I like their original fried chicken. It is to me the third best chicken in the US. #1is Ms. Mays chicken in NOLA, #2is the fried chicken at Dutch market located in Laurel, MD. But bb.q chickens are a safe bet anywhere you find them. They all consistently taste good. Try them where ever you find them. It was a pleasnt suprise to find it in Salt Lake City.

I’ve had other Korean style chicken at other restaurants, but this was far above those and made me glad I gave it a try, and I would guess this restaurant has truer style and higher standards of quality than the others I have seen.

Very very solid chicken. I came here because I found out that the boneless chicken wings are Halal. I tried out the Gangnam Style flavor and it was very delicious. They have tons of different options whether you like sweet salty or spicy wings. The owner and service was very nice and accommodating. The overall ambience of the restaurant was a vibe. Seems like the perfect place to go after a night out. will definitely be coming back!
