The ordering is confusing. Ended up getting some sort of bowl, they mashed all my meat and my sides together in a plastic bowl and charged me $17.00. Apparently they don't believe in plates Idk but to be blunt it was terrible and an idiotic way to serve BBQ. Never ever ever will I be going back. Buyer beware!!!

July 1, 2020 Update: The review of the food hasn't change. Amazing, we love it so much. I tried to order catering for my partner's birthday though, and it was a disaster. I actually don't have food for it now. Last week I tried their website. They have a Book Now option but you have to have an account to do it. But they don't have a way for you to actually create an account, so you can't use that. They have a phone # you can call and text. Phone is an automated message telling you to use Book Now. I text Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I needed catering Thursday. No responses. I tried the Book Now button on Facebook Monday and scheduled an appointment, no response. Today they told me they require 72 hours notice and I'm out of luck. Even in a pandemic, I can't really see doing business like that. Hopefully other people have better experiences with them. The food is so, so good. It’s hard to describe in a review how awesome this place is. If you’re even curious about BBQ, Benji’s is the place. We ordered every side on the menu that day and the pulled pork and loved it all. Staff is awesome, too. Get the Mac n cheese! Oh ya, corn bread, too. We’re gonna try to get there for the pork ribs next.

This place needs to figure out what it is. I've been in several times, they are always out of almost everything, I've even called before coming in and they are still out of what I came in for. I was hoping Utah had another great BBQ place but unfortunately this is not it, back to R&R for me.

Amazing!! Ordered for mothers day and they delivered it right to our house. The service and the quality of the food was amazing! So much food!!! We will be ordering from them again. Highly recommend them for large gatherings or even individuals!

Amazing!!! They totally pulled off the best Mothers Day meal for 14 people. Their service and quality is well above average. I think this is a new ritual for our family. There was so much food and the quality and flavor were off the chart! I highly recommend them for family gatherings or just individuals.

This is such an underrated place. They absolutely kill it here. It's like homestyle food. It's like the one family member or friend who knows there stuff when it comes to cooking. Absolutely outstanding. I really hope they arnt closed because of this virus. I am definitely going back.

Their brisket is the best I've ever had. I'm sad they're closing their store, but I'm stoked they're keeping their food delivery truck! You've gotta try this place!

Not surprised that this place didn't survive. I never like to see restaurants fail but this one was destined to fail. The owner seemed cocky and dishonest. The brisket was delicious, no doubt. But we had to awkwardly stand for 1/2 of our meal due to the odd seating arrangements. The corn bread was supposed to be complementary but he ended up charging us. It was mediocre cornbread. The drinks were complementary but I can see why; it was overly sweetened, room temp kool-laid served out of a beat up construction/sports team type igloo jug. Yuck. And we felt judged by the owner. He made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome.
I really LOVED Benji's it WAS delicious. Too bad it's CLOSED. I went there today no sign saying where they went and looked in the windows and stuff is in a pile in middle of the floor. It sad that delicious businesses closed down and never reopen.

I paid nearly $40 for about a palm size of burnt ends the flavor was there but the meat was dry so was the brisket my boyfriend ordered. Benji's offers a free side and drink. The drink is tap water room temperature. The cornbread tastes like it was made with white cake mix .. it was good but it wasn't cornbread. The greens were good.. spicy and sour like they should be but mostly liquid which was disappointing. We were friendly as always because we work in customer service and we know, but we felt very unwelcomed to the point that we took our plates to go half way through the meal. It was 8 at night it's a 24 hour place we are the only people in there and he really made us feel like we were putting him out.

As a native Texan, I take barbecue very seriously and I'm always super picky with it. What we got from here was NOT barbecue and I was slightly appalled that it was considered as such. We got pulled pork, ribs and their baked beans because they were out of literally everything we planned on getting. There wasn't much flavor in anything at all. Thankfully the meats had a slight smoky flavor to save it, and their sauces were pretty good to aid how dry and tasteless it was. Still, I will not depend on this place for good barbecue. The gentleman who helped us in drive-thru was extremely kind and patient though, so I added another star for him.
