It’s not really worth it. The seats and the grill setup are uncomfortable. They don’t have good useful utensils. You can’t really find your food in the soup because they don’t provide that kind of spoon. The meat are not marinated or seasoned so there’s no point in getting the bbq option. The soups are good though. The bbq part made the price not worth it and the meat options are very limited compared to others. We could get something much better with the same price. There’s no bad thing to talk about cleanliness and service but overall, I will not go back.

✨ Our New Favorite Date Spot! ✨
Today I had hot pot barbecue for the first time ever! My fiancé has raved about how fun it is to go to a hot pot restaurant, and I finally decided to give it a try. We went to Chengdu Hot Pot in Salt Lake City, and let me tell you — this place did not disappoint!
It’s located right next to Chinatown Market, which is already such a fun stop on its own. We made a day of it — shopping at the market and then ending with dinner at Chengdu — and it couldn’t have been better.
We were lucky enough to have Alyssa as our server, and she was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, friendly, and full of charisma. She stayed on top of everything — changing the broth, swapping out the grill paper, and checking in just the right amount. Her service truly elevated the whole experience.
If you come here, definitely request Alyssa — she’s the best! My fiancé and I officially have a new favorite date spot, and we can’t wait to come back.

This is hands down the best hot pot I’ve ever been to! The BBQ selection is diverse and absolutely delicious, and the hot pot broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Our server, Alyssa, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. My fiancé and I have officially found our new favorite date night spot — we can’t wait to come back!
