Super good small restaurant in the China Town, very authentic and in my opinion the best in that area, definitely deserves more attention

It took 50 minutes to get our food and several other customers were delayed before us. One customer wait more than 1.5 hours got news that their pork rib sold out. Disappointed!!! STAY AWAY if you expect normal service times or a typical restaurant experience.
It was a show of inefficient kitchen operations. But they put noodles too long time in soup which turns to be a baby's complementary food. I don't understand. If food ready already why not taken to customers?!
The delayed food and sour atmosphere are not worth the effort of visiting. The beef with rice noodles are toooo sweet. Not like a normal rice noodle. More sounds like frozen food warmed at kitchen.
Will never ever return. Disgusting!

We came to this restaurant when they first opened in 2022. It was a similar show of inefficient kitchen operations. You'd think that 2+ years later, they would've figured it out. That is NOT the case.
The waiter (long hair, glasses) was the best part of our experience. The delayed food (one plate came out fifteen minutes before the other, and the final plate was forty minutes late) and sour atmosphere are not worth the effort of visiting. I don't understand why a lady in a fur jacket was walking around back and forth from the kitchen to seating area doing NOTHING while the staff was underwater.
Will not return.

It’s expensive and tastes bad, but if you live in Salt Lake City, this is the only restaurant that you mention when it comes to Great Wall Restaurant👎. The craftsmanship is not even as good as making it yourself. I ordered a Maoxuewang before, tasted the bottom of the snail noodle pot, and ordered a Yangzhou fried rice, which gave me three lumps. The service is okay, but the chef is terrible

This is hands down the best Chinese food in Utah. I ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have been back almost every day since. It's that good

Terrible. I got the pork belly dish with a side of $1 rice. Took a few bites and bolted out of there to 85 degrees to get a sweet treat to try and erase the taste of whatever I had just experienced for the past regrettable few minutes I wish I could could forget and get a refund for. I could only give the place a few points for the nice old man who served me and its location conveniently located next to the Asian market. And the was a 1/10 as well.

I wasn't expecting the food to be this good, it does taste fresh and delicious.

The only reason why I didn't give a perfect score is because I wish they have some sort of a combination plate with a little bit of 2 or 3 dishes, instead of having you to order a single plate of one item which ended up being too big, too much for two people.
