Excellent food and the staff is so friendly and warm. We had the fried pork buns and the spicy miso soup and my partner the kimchi one , everything so delicious! Highly recommend

This place is amazing! The noodles are incredible. So much better than any other ramen house I’ve been to. I got the miso ramen and it was a 10/10. Service was perfect and our food came out very quickly.

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. I have had this restaurant on my list of places to try for a long time and finally made the trip to SLC to try it. I got the Tonkatsu Ramen and the portion size was huge! The broth was so good and the pork was melt in the mouth tender. I also got the Chicken Gyoza and the Soup Dumplings. They were well filled and had good flavor. The restaurant has Sriracha, chili crisp, soy sauce, and vinegar on the table available for you. I definitely recommend trying this one.

They had me at hand pulled noodles. Everyone at our table loved the food, and we ordered a variety. Staff were polite, attentive but not intrusive. It was a pretty busy Friday night but our food still arrived quickly. We would've ordered sooner if we had noticed the QR code option. Oh well, will know for next time. 😋 👍

Waste of $80+ dollars! I’m so disappointed I came with high hopes and drove almost an hour here. To start the Katsu Donburi was BEYOND salty and tasted like fish even though I mentioned beforehand I am allergic to all seafood/shellfish I think they used the same batter or breading to fry as other items. The “soup dumplings” were SO DRY and wrinkled the ones at Trader Joe’s tasted better. The ramen they forgot my egg and it took almost 10 minutes to flag someone down to get it. They didn’t ask what we wanted to drink , service was just okay. No kids portions either . Overall just a bad experience.

Oishi ramen is a great place to get some good ramen and Chinese/Japanese cuisine. The broth, noodles, and meat are all pretty tasty in their Japanese ramen and the appetizers come out fresh. The service never falters and they remodeled their inside so everything looks modern and pretty.

I’ve been a frequent visitor to Oishi Ramen in Salt Lake for a couple of months and have always enjoyed the experience until today. I was concerned to see a dog, not on a leash and not appearing to be a service animal, in the kitchen area near staff preparing food. I also noticed the staff didn’t wash their hands after interacting with the dog, which raised some hygiene concerns for me, regardless of whether the dog is hypoallergenic. The dog’s frequent barking also made the visit less enjoyable.
Additionally, we found a hair in our food, which was disappointing. However, the staff addressed this by removing the charge from our bill, offering a 20% discount, and providing a $5 coupon for our next visit, which we appreciated. While I’ve loved Oishi Ramen in the past, today’s experience was off. I hope these issues can be resolved, as I’d love to return to the great quality I’ve come to expect.

I've been wanting to find a good ramen place and I finally found the one! I got the tonkotsu ramen and soup dumplings and my husband got the beef brisket ramen! It was amazing everything was delicious and service was great! Definitely coming back to try the other flavors and appetizers! Thank you for a great ramen experience!🫶🏽

We had a spicy tonkatsu, curry ramen, and a creamy chicken ramen and they were all bangers. Don't sleep on the soup dumplings either. Where oishi absolutely kills it is service though. My daughter had left a toy in our booth and was distraught. When we got there, they had found the toy and washed it off and were so concerned that she was upset. Truly beautiful people making food from the heart.

Everything we ate was incredible. Came for a late lunch and everything came out quickly. The tonkasu ramen is the best I've ever tried. Hand pulled noodles are superior! Service was great. Definitely going to be a favorite spot.
