I ordered a carne asada burrito with Mole. Portion size was very good. The rice was very tough, like it had oxidized in the tray. The carne asada was very meh. Texture wasn’t grilled enough for me and a few of those chewy bits that end up back on the plate.
I returned my food, because I wasn’t enjoying it. I never do that.
It’s a cute little spot, but it gets low marks for me today.
Also the dinky plastic utensils are a joke. Pro tip: metal silverware for done-in orders.

Now taqueria Fernandez I believe. I bought 3 tacos: asada, al pastor, and carnitas. Al pastor was the best. Carnitas and asada almost a little dry. They have all the accompaniments of onions, sauces, limes, etc available for you. But personally I prefer it when they do it for you rather than me making my own taco. Just let me choose the sauce. Everything else should be done for you.

Everything I’ve tried from here is so insanely tasty! My favorite food to get is the al pastor burrito with pineapple and avocado, it’s so delicious! The volcanes are also amazing. The only thing I would say is the food takes a very long time sometimes, but it’s always worth it :)

One of Utah’s hidden gems!Our server was incredibly kind, and our food came out very quickly.The Vegetarian dishes were some of the best in the state, and my boyfriend says the non-vegetarian food was even better.This is a must-visit restaurant for quality, cost-effective, Mexican food.

The nachos weren’t exactly your classic nachos. There was no melted cheese on top or queso, there was some flavorless cotija cheese stuck to the bottom of about half the nachos but it was a big disappointment. The service was good, but I almost tripped inside the restaurant several times due to a weird ramp thingy in one of the doorways.
