I DJ at some places around town, the service and food were definitely better than some of the chain bars/bowling allies in town. The artists and I that performed definitely appreciated the service we received from the staff.

You must check this place out. At first look I was a little concerned but once inside it changed all of that. Very pet friendly, TVs for sport watching, local live music and great bar food. The bartender was very fun and welcoming as were other guests. It was easy to feel included with everyone. I highly suggest stopping in.

Small spot, nice and easy. I came in ordered a sloppy Joe with some pasta salad. It was extremely cheap, even caught a beer with it. When you do it right its simple.

I recently stopped by Tailgate Tavern off State Street, and it was an awesome experience! The food was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere was just as impressive, with a great vibe and welcoming energy that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The owner, Spencer, is a really great guy—super friendly and genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great time. If you’re looking for a spot with delicious food, a fun environment, and an awesome owner, this is it. Highly recommend!
