Wanted to try this place because it is where Mei Kong Cafe (sp?) used to be and I saw that they had orange chicken which is my favorite. The place itself has an odd smell which took a bit to get past. The chicken itself was dry and didn't have any breading. The orange sauce was quite good though. My wife got the honey sesame chicken and said it was pretty bland. The service was solid though.
This place open all the way from 11Am to 9 PM so we can dine in anytime. The food taste awesome after hiking to Fifth Water Hot springs and don't feel like driving too far from Spanish Fork. If you are not picky, you can order from the lunch special $11.49 before 3.30PM and $13.99 after. You will get free tom yum or tom ka soup plus appetizer. Same name, not same quality. Very frustrating. The coconut soup was watery and weird sweet, like they added sugar, it was not the subtle sweetness of the coconut milk. The pad thai was pale and dry with very little flavor. The sticky rice felt off and the jasmin did not have its distinctive aroma, I guess not a very fresh grain. I'll stick to the Orem location, better food and nicer setting. I really, really wanted to like as much as the other location but the difference...
