Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I wanted to try this place as I love the idea of having a healthier fast food option. We got the Bahama Mama and acai bowls which were pretty expensive, and they ended up being much smaller than I was expecting. The Bahama Mama was really good, but the blueberries on the acai bowl were very much fermented.

I used to get a smoothie from here all the Time. Then i slowed down on all the expensive drinks so though today i needed one , omg it’s so good. But super sweet. In case you didn’t know you can ask for half. Sweetener and it’s still sweet and yummy. I also really like the quesadillas. It’s still expensive. I really wish they would offer smaller size smoothies

Good food, took 20 minutes with 3 cars in front of us…

Smoothies were good like they always are, the reason I'm upset with this visit is the drive through service. Please for the love of God stop making your customers dangle out their car window, to swipe or insert their own credit card all so that the employees can guilt us into tipping them. They left me holding that stupid card reader for over a minute which did not reach to my car so I was half way out of my window. If they hand me the card scanner again, I will drop it and drive away. This is a lousy way to treat your customers

The food was nice and fresh and the service was quick. However, we only had a couple of pieces of chicken in our Baja Wrap ($10). The acai bowl ($10) was small for the price. Overall good flavors but maybe not worth the amount you pay for the food you get.

Paid $8 for a smoothie that tasted like ice

I went through the drive thru 10 minutes before they closed. I work at a starbucks so I understand the frustration of people coming in last minute. However, the girl on drive thru told me that making food or a smoothie would take more than the last 10 minutes they had to be open. I felt super awkward, told them i'd zoom through the line, and proceeded to have to wait 15 minutes behind another car. This was a fat waste of my time. Turning down a customer before closing is crazy

I give it a three star because I never been there but smoothies are yummy there's must be two. Lot of franchise places open and up here wow.

I cannot rate the atmosphere because we did not go inside.The smoothie was terrible it had no flavor whatsoever and we waited a crazy amount of time for them to make them and nobody was in the drive through and nobody was in the store so they were not busy!

Spilled my entire smoothie in my car, went back to get another (and told the employee what had happened while handing my card over to pay for a second smoothie), and they were SO kind and made me a replacement smoothie at no cost. To top it all off, they wrote me an uplifting note on the side of my smoothie cup! Thank you, Tropical Smoothie Cafe employee whose name I don’t know!

I learned about this place through a promotion and the kids and I have liked every smoothie We’ve gotten there. My daughter loves the bowls. The company is great about letting you choose among sweetners—or having none—and I was impressed with a manager’s ability and willingness to diffuse and resolve an issue with the promotion when they could have passed the buck to corporate and have it escalated.
