One of the best experiences we’ve had dining out and the absolute best steakhouse. The owner is incredibly nice and took great care of us! Will definitely return on our next trip to St. George.

We don't get to Anasazi often, maybe because when we do go we can't stop eating. The cheese fondue, the chocolate for dessert -- for us the entree is often an afterthought. On this trip we started with the gruyere and onion fondue. We love the variety of vegetables and fruit for dipping. We forced ourselves to hold back, retaining an appetite for the salmon, which was prepared beautifully. No dessert this time, though from past experience we know you can't go wrong with chocolate fondue. Oversll, an enjoyable meal.

This was a great place to have a steak. The atmosphere is simple, but they have the option available for you to cook your own meat on a 600-degree "rock." I got the porterhouse, and it was great. I wish the sides were a little larger, but they were also very good. The Cesar salad was great, and so was the crem brulee.

7 people ordered steaks, 3 of the steaks, 2 were New York Strip, and 1 was a Ribeye, were tough and chewy. Sides were tiny, including the salad. Grilled vegetables were cold. Won't be back.

The steak was good but not great. Portions were terrible. The biggest problem was it took two hours from start to finish.

We had a decent experience here. We had some steaks grilled and did some on the stone. The cheese fondue and the dessert fondue were good. The cocktails we had were good. Our waitress was great. The only weird thing was the serving size on salads and sides. The salads were served on the tiny dessert style plates and didn't have any toppings. The mashed potato side was also served on a separate, tiny plate and was literally one spoonful of potatoes with 4 baby carrots.

Fun times at the Anasazi Steakhouse. It is a unique experience where you can grill your own steak to perfection on a stone grill. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, but very busy.

Got highly recommended by some people he tried it out the portions were embarrassingly small they didn't offer us bread after we asked why they didn't they said were low on Brad which was completely insane then the server was slow food that we didn't eat was pretty good but definitely won't return. It was just way too complicated to get service in a decent portion of food for the price

We went to Anasazi for my father's 68th birthday while on vacation after doing research since he is a big steak fan. This restaurant seemed to fit the bill for great steak while providing a unique experience. Boy were we disappointed! We had a reservation for six and while we were seated fairly quickly, it was in their 'conference room,' which didn't have the same level of decor or intimacy as the main restaurant. With a reservation, I would have hoped for a nicer table, but we aren't very picky, so didn't say anything. It took a good 10-15 minutes before our server even came to the table. She introduced herself as a trainee and said to go easy on her. No problem...to a point. Some issues were small but did add up to a bad experience while others were outright inexcusable. After ordering, our appetizers and bread came out, but no plates or utensils were provided until 5-10 minutes later once we asked for them. We were told they ran out of bread despite opening at 5pm with us having a 6pm reservation. Our salads came next and the Caesar ones were supposed to have croutons but did not. Perhaps related to the bread issue? The Bison ribeye I ordered came out first. Our server said the rest of the meals would be right out. The next four meals came out 15-20 minutes later, then the last meal another 5 minutes after that. I was done with my meal before any other food came out, even with eating slowly. My mother's medium ribeye was well done and didn't look like any ribeye I'd ever seen. It was a large pancake of meat about 1/2" thick! All the mashed potato servings were small. They looked like a typical mound of potatoes, but cut in half. Carrots were included despite not being mentioned on the menu, perhaps to make up for the small potato serving? One of us ordered rice as our side instead of potatoes and it was never brought out, even after reminding the server. The 'conference room' began to smoke up as well throughout the evening as more of the 'stone cooked' steaks were brought out. The main dining room must have better ventilation as there was not a thick haze of smoke there. We were not checked on throughout the meal, service was terribly slow, foods were missing, overcooked, and they ran out of basic items early into the evening. I don't blame our server for everything with her being a trainee, but a seasoned server should have been watching over her as she clearly wasn't ready to be on her own. Many of the issues were beyond her control, related to the restaurant itself. Needless to say, we will not be returning.
