Was pleasantly surprised by flavor. I have not experienced this type of home cooked goodness in quite some time. Will be telling friends for sure!

Bella Marie's used to be our favorite authentic new York pizza place at their original location. They did 18 inch NY thin crust pizza the way you get it in new York! They switched locations and I was so excited they were bringing there food to a more accessible location! But then they switched up there menu and only sold 12 inch pizzas that didn't taste the same! I was soooo sad! We don't go anymore because of it. I'm pleading for the owners to start offering the authentic 18 inch pizzas the way pizzas are meant to be! Please I'm begging! Wed be regulars again and tell everyone!
We had the arribata and the chicken marsala was awesome. The service and staff was very attentive and kind. They just moved into an older run down building but it kinda adds to the authenticity. Unfortunately our white wine was very warm. That was the only downside.

Their pizzas need more meat and other trimmings. We've had pizzas from Riggati's, Pizza Factory, John G's, and other places in town. Bella Marie's has the skimpiest meat and veggies on their pizza. Not worth the price. You can do better, Bella Marie's.

We went here the night before our half marathon and we were not disappointed! Our group was pretty large but we were able to call ahead to see if they could fit us and they were more than accommodating. Our server Ryan did a great job at making sure we always had our waters filled and always checked in on us.
The food was amazing! We got the chicken Marsala dish and the chicken bacon ranch pizza. The pizza was our favorite and we are already planning a trip to come back! 10/10 recommend coming here!

We stopped by about a month ago, as we saw the new location recently opened and we were looking forward to a local Italian option. Sadly, Bella Maria will not be an option, as we never got food.
We ordered a pizza and a salad to share shortly after being seated. After close to half an hour later, with no food being served to us, not even a few slices of bread, we got up to leave and asked that our pizza be boxed up for us to take with us. Rather than being understanding, the staff started arguing with us about how the people around us had reservations and that was why they were served before us even though they were seated after us.
I understand that they advertise that everything is cooked to order, but it seems unreasonable to not bring any food to a table up to 30 minutes after ordering, even a salad or bread. And it doesn't seem like good business to argue with an unhappy customer instead of apologizing. There are other Italian options a few minutes further away in St. George, and we will stick to those.

Service is the only thing lacking at Bella Marie's. Partially due to younger (inexperienced) servers. The experienced ones are on top of it. We happen to get a newer, much younger one than some of the seasoned staff. What we enjoyed were the Limon cello cake, chicken Alfredo, and spaghetti with meatballs! Everything is made to order. All of it is not the run of the mill franchise places which was perfect for my birthday. Very happy we came here. It was just short of being a passport and a long plane ride to Italy. This is a top recommendation for authentic Italian cuisine. The owner and cook (chef?) will check on you as food comes out. Such great love goes into his dishes. Come check out this amazing ma and Pa style Italian diner!

If we were trying to scam your restaurant, we would have run out — not walked out calmly. The lack of accountability, responsibility, and grace you’ve shown here is truly disappointing. Please stop deflecting the reality of the situation.
This experience was beyond awful. It could have been resolved easily if the chef-owner hadn’t come to our table to insult us and take photos of us without our consent — instead of offering an apology or any attempt to make things right.
Yes, we left without paying, and we stand by that decision given the circumstances. We were treated with hostility, not hospitality — we have nothing to hide.
Your attitude and unprofessional behavior are the reason this situation escalated. Do better. You’re in the hospitality business — all you had to do was apologize and show some kindness. Instead, you chose aggression.
Good luck.

We came to this restaurant hoping for a good meal but ended up with one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. We ordered pasta with “homemade sausage,” a salad, and two pizzas. The dishes came out slowly, one by one — the pasta first, cold and overcooked, followed much later by the pizzas.
We were hungry and ate what we could, but the pasta was inedible. When we politely shared our feedback, the owner’s wife became defensive instead of trying to help. Then the chef — her husband — came over to our table, insulted us, and even took a picture of us and our food.
We were actually willing to pay until that moment, but his aggressive behavior and lack of professionalism made it impossible to continue the conversation. If you care about customer service, you treat your guests with respect — you don’t argue with them, and you definitely don’t insult them.
All four of us work in hospitality, and we’ve never experienced anything like this. No apology, no accountability, no basic courtesy. Just hostility.
Do not go here. Save your money and your evening — go to Sand Town Pizza instead.

Ordered a pepperoni, mushroom and sausage pizza and spaghetti with meatballs to go. The staff seemed like they're still getting their bearings in the new location and were a little frazzled but very friendly. The pizza was still hot when we got it home but the spaghetti was pretty cold.We enjoyed both the pizza and the spaghetti but the meatballs were exceptional! It was a little pricey and the spaghetti portion was kind of small but I'd go back again.

Our daughter-in-law told us about this wonderful Italian restaurant in St. George. The food is delicious and the service was warm and very welcoming.
