We made our reservation for a birthday party 2 days ago. At 11:56 this am, the front desk person called to cancel our reservation as the venue had been reserved for the whole night. The manager was verbally abusive to my wife when she stood up to them for charging us as we did not cancel, Big Shots did. In addition, the manager was threatening and aggressive. Completely let down and not impressed. Do not recommend.
They called 6 hours before our reservation and canceled it due to being “bought out”, despite the fact that it be confirmed via email and text. Claimed that this group had made the reservation previously, although the front desk said it had “just been bought out this morning”. Manager was rude and unprofessional. They initially refused to refund my reservation fee. Left us scrambling for a backup for a birthday party. And the manager was not respectful or calm. I called back because I received an email that said my reservation fee would not be refunded. The front desk person said she would get a manager and I told her to call back if there was a problem. There were 5 people in the room and my phone was on speaker, so I know that I was not verbally rude or aggressive . The front desk person was upset because she had to call multiple people that had made reservations that were not being honored. She also was surprised that I had received an email saying I was being charged, even though my reservation was canceled by the manager. Your manager was very rude and abrasive to me as well as threatening. I am not super worried about “being flagged” by a Top Golf knock off. Clearly she thinks she has way more power then she does. The theme is pretty clear in your reviews. For a business that is 2 years old, over 30% are 1 star. Classic case of deflection. They screwed up, but somehow they are trying to spin this in a different light. The manager I spoke with wrote the response…
Made us wait on a Tuesday for half an hour even though we had a reservation

We did an event, small party, at BigShots Golf in St. George. We chose the Ultimate Appetizer Platter which includes:
24 Boneless Buffalo Wings
48 Everything Pretzel Bites
4 Smoked Cheddar Quesadilla (cut into 6 slices)
6 Cheddar Bacon Tots
2 Chips & Dips Platters w/ spinach-artichoke dip, queso, guac & tortilla chips
12 Unlimited fountain drinks
The golfing was as expected. The clubs need an upgrade.
The food was served on the cold side, the queso's were skinned over and the Guac was on the dark side...both of which suggests they had sat for a while before they were served.
Our server was nice, but the "unlimited" drinks were pretty easy for them, since they didn't follow-up on refills until after 75 minutes, for our two hour sessions, we only had one refill.
We requested kids clubs from our server for the only child in the group, and after 30 minutes we went to the front desk to request them ourselves. The desk attendant told us they had been sitting there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to pick them up. We had never been told we had to get them ourselves.
"Kids Set" consisted of a few clubs that were children's clubs and 3 irons that were longer than the Kids driver. Frustrating.
We've been to BigShots before, and the food and service were better than this trip. Perhaps the spontaneous orders are made fresh, and the scheduled events are made in advance. Hopefully this isn't a sign of poorly investing in the future of their business.

Not family friendly. The management needs better training and social skills.

Came here for my nephews birthday. The waitress was awesome! We ordered our food and after it arrived and while in the middle of eating, managers told the waitress to ask us to either purchase another station or move inside as we exceeded 6 people. Nice of them to wait to tell us this while we were in the middle of eating dinner and didn’t bother to tell us before we ordered! Very rude and this could have been handled differently. Management needs better training on this and they could have come out themselves and said ‘hey I know you’re in the middle of eating and we don’t want to interrupt your meal but in the future if you have more than 6 people we need to either have you inside or purchase another station’. Simple and not an issue but they chose to handle it poorly. Us adults were not even playing golf, only came here to eat! Again, poor taste on handling such a simple situation. Unfortunately it results in a negative experience for us and a negative review for the establishment.

So much potential but disappointing. Poor customer service, very expensive, atmosphere lacking, tracer not calibrated, TV not working or showing stupid ads rather than drive stats, had to pay for reservation. Ball feed machines are terribly slow, frustrating and serve no purpose other than to slow down play for no good reason. Employees seem lost about how to operate equipment or play games. Make this place fun and ensure customer have a good time and it could be quite fun. $114 for 1:15 hour of play, a plate of nachos and 2 pitchers! Why is it so difficult to create an enjoyable adult experience in St Geo

The employee working the front counter was rude, she had an attitude and acted like we ruined her night by showing up to golf. When we asked questions she responded shortly or ignored us. The clubs at our booth were broken, and had the rubber handles coming off. Ball dispenser was also broken.
Im not one to complain but the place was a dumpster fire. Saturday night and no real authority presence there. Just kids running the show. Timid front desk, no calling out names of groups waiting. We had a reservation booked @ 7:45 and didn't get a bay till 8:30 (we even showed up early). The bay was grimy, cushions weren't really in place on the couches. There were no men's drivers, 3 Woods etc. The longest men's club they had was a hybrid. The ball sensor wasn't working so they just had the box open so we could grab balls out of it. The group next to us could do anything they wanted. They lost a club out in the landing area, hit the box behind us several times. If there was a manager there they were not overseeing ANY part of the operation. The food was decent but when you dont eat till 9 PM anything will taste good. Despite all that we did have a good time. The games are easy to play and my teens really liked the pinball game. The mini-golf course we played during our hour of waiting was probably the saving grace. We used our own balls and putters and that's what we did to pass the time.

Could be so good but It's just not reliable. We had a pretty bad experience last July when the sensors were really terrible and we spent the entire two hours trying to get any of our shots to register. The manager did give us a coupon for buy an hour get an hour because of that issue. We finally went back today with that coupon and got our free hour but also bought food and gave a generous tip, all totally more than $100. We were rushing so we could finish our game in the last 15 minutes and should have had time but 10 of those minutes were spent with the machine suddenly no longer recognizing the shots. I found our waitress and let her know of the issue and she said: "is it the left handed golfer? Yeah that's what happens for the left hand side. Sorry." And then she turned around and walked away. Apparently since we had already tipped her she was fine being snarky and inconsiderate. I guess this place is fine if you only have right handed friends and family members, but her response was not only rude, but it acknowledged that the business knows that their tech doesn't work for left handed golfers and doesn't care at all that we spend money for something that's not going to work. We didn't get to finish our game because we ran out of time since it would never recognize two of our players. I just can't recommend a business that is not only so rude but knows there's a problem and won't fix it or make accommodations when they know it's their error and we paid for the time.

We wanted to play upstairs, but were informed that they had no food servers up there so we couldn't be accommodated, even if we didn't intend to order anything. I get that they make their money from selling overpriced food and drinks while you're playing. We arrived early in the morning (so early in the day it's not even legal to serve us alcohol). We've come in the evening, and it was too busy to go upstairs. We tried to make a reservation, but you can't select the floor you want to play on. Now, because they can't charge us for drinks, we can't play upstairs in the morning!
Frankly this thing is a big ugly eyesore in a beautiful city. Maybe it would grow on me if I could actually use the darn thing.
Fun put-put.

We love hanging out at BigShots. We bought a pass and thought we’d go a few times a week. So far we’ve had good service but today we ordered few things and after we got our food, our server disappeared. We went to check out, had to wait for a manager to add our discount. We love the place just need to address the service and attention of the hosts to make the experience Next level.
