such a wonderful surprise! we had a staff dinner here & just loved every second of it! from the decor to the food & drinks, it was perfection! did I mention there's an audio book playing in the bathroom? Bravo to them. they thought of everything!

Our server wasn’t friendly and tried to clean up our table twice while we were still eating. The food is very good here.
However, they never have dessert at lunchtime except for ice cream. They should fix that situation. I hope they do.My favorite server is Lex.

So glad we tried this place...

Talk about a cute little find! We stumbled in here by accident, but I'd make a reservation if you want to be here. We luckily got a bar spot and had a cocktail and mocktail. Pear gin fizz and a passionfruit mule. The ambiance was stellar and love the speakeasy appeal.

In the back of a beautiful clothing boutique in The Shoppes at Zion strip mall, there’s an unassuming bookshelf. When you push this bookshelf, you open the door to one of most amazing speakeasy style bistros I have ever been to: Book Club Bistro.
This dimly lit but very cozy speakeasy bistro is an absolute must for anyone who is looking for a dining “experience”.
1. FOOD: regardless of what you order from the menu, you are in for a sensory overload. The unique and exquisite flavors and smells are only matched by their presentation. I can honestly say I have never seen or tasted anything like it in St George.
2. COCKTAILS: Finally, a place in St George that gets it. There is a whole lot that goes into mixing a cocktail than just opening a couple of bottles and pouring them into a glass. These unique cocktails are carefully crafted, absolutely delicious, and meticulously presented in ways you won’t see anywhere else.
3. SERVICE: from the moment you walk in, you are treated perfectly at every point of contact. Every person who came to our table made us feel welcome and appreciated. Our waitress, Jay, was simply fantastic. She was personable and professional at the same time.

Book Club Bistro is exactly what we need in St George. It left us wanting more, and we can’t wait to return.

Such a surprise to find this hidden gem. It’s a hidden small restaurant in the back of a girls clothing boutique. Only found it while looking up date night places to eat. Fun kind of dark atmosphere with old stylings making you feel like you are in an older era with music and a dark room with small lights on tables and wall sconces. Felt like great gatspy times. Food was absolutely delicious and portions were perfect! Not too much or too little food. We enjoyed the perfectly cooked and moist/flavorful meatballs with bacon jam, crab cakes with corn relish, and brisket loaded potatoes. Even the mystery dessert was delicious other than the hard to cut crust. Needed a knife to cut through the graham crust. Mocktails were delicious too.

This is a very cool place to eat with delicious food. The atmosphere is intimate but not stuffy. Everything we got to eat and drink was delicious and the servers were very attentive. We will definitely go back!

Such a fun, unexpected place for dinner. We had the meatballs, and the cigar dessert. Crab cakes were excellent. Would recommend for a first date.

This is easily one of the best restaurants in St. George—perfect for a date night. The space is cozy and intimate, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. My husband and I kicked things off with the deviled eggs and the meatballs with bacon jam—honestly, the best meatballs I’ve ever had!

The cocktails were stunningly presented and full of flavor—we’re already excited to try more. For our main course, we shared the brisket smashed potato and the pasta alla vodka, both of which were absolutely delicious.

To finish, we treated ourselves to dessert. The affogato, elevated with a shot of amaretto, was a standout, and the “Mystery Novel” lived up to its name—surprising and seriously good. Can’t wait to come back and explore even more of the menu!

If you know, you know. Everything was excellent. Atmosphere, vibe and the food, my goodness the food. We spoke with the owner and creator and she was excited and passionate about her place. This is a MUST see in St George.

OK. Cute little bistro! Hidden door in a boutique.
Not busy, we just went for appetizers and drinks.
All the drinks were spot on and delicious. It was fun to 'assemble' my old fashioned and martini.
Hummus and meatballs were super yummy!!
And Lex was an exceptional server. Personable and her recommendations were fantastic.
I will definitely return when I'm back in town.
